Looks like that might be an Aurora "Red Devil" arm? I have a couple that look like that and that's what they are. I believe they ohm out around 11 or 12 ohms or so?  Altho, there is an Aurora arm that is pretty much a 'stock arm that looks similar, and it ohms 14 to 15. Soo...I'm thoroughly confusing MYSELF now! LOL! ;D Been looking at those bodies myself Dave, I have a few of the '65 Impala's from that same 'supplier'.  Looks GREAT btw!  Ron (Bondo)  |

Yep what Ron said. Red Devil arm. I have a few of them and quite like them. Never tried one with good magnets to see how one goes. I have a 65 Impala nearly done!

Where did you get the Impala Fast Back body from and does it fit a 4gear chassis.

The Impala wb is slightly off for a 4 gear. I am, however, in the process of modifying that body so it fits a 4 gear and am gonna cast it. Rear of body will be slightly wider, wb will be correct, and it will have a cowl hood scoop molded in. Not sure if I want to cast it with a small rear wing, or no wing. Leaning towards no wing, so that the builder can add their own if they choose to. Not real sure how long before it will be ready tho...lol. I have a LOT of bodies real close to casting besides the Impala so I'll probly do those first. ;D Think he's out of the Impalas at the moment, but I'm SURE he'll find more! He sold a LOT of those, so he's probly looking for more as we speak! Kinda want to see what the '67 Camaros he has look like! Ron (Bondo) |
