Ok, Sam is going to put up a sign up sheet later. Is Thanksgiving weekend too soon, if so we could possibly move it back to the middle of December. I just don't want to interfere with Sam's NTRA race whenever it is.
Like I said before, I'm not having an organized T&T but if you want to mail me your cars I will be glad to test them and send them back with any recommendations at your cost of course.
This race will allow 2 cars per person. I'll post my address a little later.
How does "The King of the Street" series sound? We'll call this race The 2010 Musclecar Shootout.

Thanksgiving sounds good unless it interferes with something, shouldnt take long to build basically stock cars. Already looking to it and the next NTRA race. uh oh.....i recognize this feeling.........ADDICTION! I wonder if there's a 12 step program for HO drag racing?

I just did about an hours worth of testing. I tested stock tires vs AML silicone and didn't see any difference in ET. So with that being said, don't feel like you have to change the tires but you can if you want. Of course my tires aren't 10 yrs old and slick as a marble. If you have a track, try it for yourself and see what you think.
Just so you know, I do run stock tires on these cars here.
Matt
PS. of the 18 cars that I tested, 10 cars ran between 1.040 and 1.139. thats pretty close

They seem to be the cars with a little less down force created by the motor mags. Less down force is less drag and quicker times. The quickest pass to date is .957
