Thanks guys for the good words. If any one is interested email me at hairycanaryjr@aol.com The TF car was a real pain. But I think it came out pretty good. Removing the paint was the hardest part. Just have to finish the wheelie bar and cast it. Most everything is stock. I did a roll cage more like the real cars with the shield around the back of the cage and I changed the angle of the rear wing. I looked like it had negetive wing. Plus the motor. Have some other bodies I am working on hope to have them done soon.

Your not kidding about removing the paint on those AW dragsters!!!! I don't know what they used, but WOW is it tuff to get off! Once work picks up here in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to have to get both of those Camaro's and a Cuda! Is that a different injector hat on the Cuda? Great job as usual Rick!!!!!

Here are a couple of shots of the Slammer I was trying to finish for the Spring Nationals. I am still not finished but getting close. Trying to give the injectors that carbon fiber look. A side note I am leaving for Spokane Washington this morning for a race this Friday and Saturday. Will be gone for a couple of weeks. Rick

You guys (super painters and detailers) are starting to make us creatively challenged people feel inadequate. Nice job, Rick.
Good luck in Spokane!

I have to agree, but I also like seeing all these beautiful creations. I'd be afraid to race something that good looking so I guess its best I can't create something that nice ;D Very nice job Rick!!!

I LIKE it Rick!!! I love the lettering style too!! ;D I would really be interested in knowing how you got the 'correct' carbon fiber look! I've tried images from various places and changing sizes and stuff, but nothing ever looks 'right'! And..good luck in the race too buddy! Ron (Bondo)

can be done using a really fine mesh (think filters) and black and grey paint. Harder on this scale though... nice job!

NICE!!!!! Your going to have to give up some of your tricks on how do these cars up. Good luck and have fun in Spokane! I used live in Spokane and raced at SRP ( 20 some years ago) I wanted to go to that race, but the finances didn't permit it. Great town and great people, I sure miss it

And as if the carbon fiber look isn't enough, then he goes and letters the butterflies, (I have all I can do just to get some contrasting paint in them) and also paints the bolts on the pulley!
Fantastic.
