Good to hear that many of the haulers have made it home safely. There are so many temptations on the road . . . Thanks to everyone who participated in the NTRA Manufacturers Funny Car Championship. The quality of the cars, in both appearance and performance, took a huge step forward. Every car had its entry number marked clearly -- a big help for the brain-dead racemaster! I've posted some race highlights on my Facebook page. It's public album, so you don't have to be a member to view it: on.fb.me/oz5RLm Enjoy your summer, and get to work on your cars -- the NTRA World Finals will be here in the blink of an eye. Cheers, Rick V.

Hauler hasn't made it home yet here. Hopefully today! Rick, got a quick question. Are we running these at the Finals? Just curious. Already started rounding up parts to 'beef up' my NFC cars. and am building an NPS car too. Any chance of maybe running an 'exhibition' or possibly even a 'match race' or two with the Doorslammers? You guys on here all know how popular those cars were at Sam's race, and if we don't keep racing them (like we did the NFC's) , then we won't be able to eventually get them put into the NTRA 'rule book'! ;D Ron (Bondo)

Voltage is still TBD, pending racer input. Time to get to work . . . The Lions crew is pretty burned out right now and not too excited about any additional classes, but might entertain the idea of a two-car match race. Rick V.

Hey Rick, This is just my opinion, since its the Finals and all,we should have one more class, and maybe put it to a vote on here, just feel like rat rod and stock isnt enough for the finals ,you know??

Sorry about the miss spelled message above ,I think we should have at least threee class for the finals, and either a door slammer class or N F/C.
