For Event #3 will the stocks be racing at 13.8 volts or 18 volts? Good question. Last year we ran Stockers on 18 volts at the NTRA World Finals. Lots of wheelspin and inconsistent times with the skinny tires. After eliminations, I tested the two quickest cars (wood's and 440gtx's) on 13.8 volts. E.T.s slowed from 1.40s to 1.57s, and the cars weren't spinning the tires as hard. I don't have a dog in this fight, and it doesn't really matter to me where I set the power output, so we'll run whatever voltage the majority of racers decide on. Racemaster Rick

Well after doing some testing tonight with the different voltages I came up with about the same results. I'm with 440 gtx on this on. 13.8 volts would be prefered from my point of view.[/color] Thanks for the quick response Rick. See ya at the races =)

I'll agree with these guys!13.8. A match race would be cool with the doorslammers too. Maybe an East/ West or a North/South shootout. But in the end it's up to Rick, it's his track. After all the work he put in to the last race I can understand being a little burned out. Thanks again Rick!
