Eagle, I'm getting more and more interested in seeing what you guys do with these cars, since they fall right into what me and you talked about on that Outlaw class!  I have NO doubt we'll see at LEAST 60+ mph passes out of this! ;D Ron (Bondo)  Hey Ron, looked for it but couldn't find thread. If I remember right, "Sgrig", posted a thread with time for 4g with I think a 4 ohm. Gonna have to get him to build me a couple for 4g's just in case the TO class ever takes off. .........Peter |

The Camaro is getting cleaned up and ready to go,,,,,,so who will it race against?
How many match races are you guys willing to do? It'd be neat to see couple of MM/PS cars if there's time and interest.

TGM 2054 Bondo says he has one, challenge him. If he does not want to run it I am pretty sure Neal aka Slotfather has some unlimited TJets to race. He is a co host but, it is just a match race. We won't let him race his own car.

The car I have is a Neo Jet. Tjet chassis, neo mags, rewound arm (by Sgrig..think it's a 4 ohm or so), 'wet com' brush setup. I've actually not ran it since I got it from Jim. Even if I did setup my track, not enuff power! Takes at LEAST 24 volts and HIGH amps just to get it to move!  But heck, I'm game! Ron (Bondo) |

Hey Tom, what's the Camaro packing under the hood ? If only the three of us, that being Ron (bondoman2k), yourself (TGM2054), and me (pceng), are the only ones intrested in the match racing. Perhaps a E.T. demo for hot t-jets would work. Unless I missed something and you guys have a race set.
Ron, don't remember if I told you. I know the neo's with low ohm arms are supposed to only run on higher amp supplies. But I had to try the neo jet I have and used a 22v wall wart. Ran the track out the door and down the hall so I had some run off. Hit the trigger on the control and car disappeared. Found the car twenty feet past the end of the track in the back of the room at the end of the hall. Couple of body parts missing, nothing major. Started thinking about the run-off at the track in Plano. I hope nothing breakable is beyond it. Or anything solid either ! Maybe Eagle, can get one of the crew to wear catchers gear and glove ..... lol.
The neo-jet I have is a 15 degree advanced 1.5 ohm arm ("Sgrig built"), also a wet comm. Jim, did that conversion at his E.T. comp. when the chassis had poly mags and a 5.7 ohm arm. Went from a 1.0 something to .691 after Jim's tunning. Put the 1.5 and neo's back in after getting it back from Jim, as that was the chassis that got used on short notice for his race. Trying to get another body ready right now for it.

Peter all it has is a 5.0, with poly mags, and a wet com set up. It's the car I sent Sgrigs ET comp. Last time I ran it was a couple of shake down runs before the Winter Nationals to check the track out. Even with 17V the thing ran the full 8' of shut down with dynamic brakes, hit the foam block then the floor. Need less to say the body suffered a little bit, I'm trying to get another body ready for it now. ( Another Hairy Canary Camaro) I'll send it along, somebody needs to have some fun with it!
Maybe I'll try and get my MM/PS back together too and send it along, just for grins and giggles.
