 The countdown to the 2012 NTRA World Finals is underway. The ace Lions crew is preparing the track for record-setting times. The pit space has been expanded and new grandstands erected in anticipation of a huge turnout. The long-range forecast for the California coast predicts ideal conditions. Entries must arrive by Nov. 2. Qualifying and eliminations on November 3-4. This is the Big One! BE THERE! Racemaster Rick |

Well the hauler rolled out today headed to the finals at Lions. This is my first time to race Gasser Class. Since I don't really race TJets this should be interesting  |

Phyllis the Mail Lady and Al the UPS Guy delivered the early entries for the NTRA World Finals. We've logged in deliveries from Falcon, Dunbar, Waaso, Wallace, Shell, Russell, and Buck.
Aurora Divine promises to post photos of the arrivals, but she is having some difficulty finding film for her Kodak Brownie camera.

No more racer arrivals today for the NTRA Finals, but Phyllis the Mail Lady delivered a box full of prizes from HairyCanary. It's the Mother Lode of resin bodies -- Gassers, Funny Cars, Pro Mods, the works! Pictures to come, as soon as Aurora finds a drug store that will still process film.
Hairy's bodies are so cool that I'm thinking about entering the Finals under an assumed name just so I can have a chance to win one of 'em! (Just kidding -- maybe.)
The ace Lions crew spent the day setting up for the year's biggest race. BE THERE!

. . . put me down for 2 Gassers and 1 N/FC. . . Charley You are on the list at #24 & #25 for Gasser, and #25 for NFC. Welcome to the race! Hope you make to the race on time. Those of us here in the mid-Atlantic to northeast states that did not get their cars out on Saturday may have trouble getting to the race on time as many of the transport facilities here were closed yesterday and today. Dropped my cars off to a closed transport facility early yesterday. Hopefully, transporters are on the move tonight. |
