N/FC A round 1 is complete.
N/FC A race 1 was one of the best races of the day. Doug412 jumps out in front early, only to be run down by bondoman2k at the traps. Bondo wins with a 1.326.....doug412 1.440.
 Race 2 puts the #1 qualifier against the Cuda of pceng. The Monza cuts a good light, but deslots momentarily and goes back in. Thats enough for pceng to motor past for the win. Pceng 1.443......to phantombse's slowing 1.565,
Race 3 was uneventful...wazzer gets out first and never looks back. The win goes to wazzer with a 1.493....to 1.557 for chriswfo.
 Last race of the first round sees jimrussell's Mustang cut a good light and shows sjracer his taillights. jimrussell 1.340....sjracer 1.414.

I'm not busting on ya,I know you've got your hands full. I've just never seen it done this way before.
Every race I've been in, the top qualifier gets the bye in the first round,after that if there's an odd number of cars, it was done on a random draw of the remaining cars that hadn't gotten a bye in the previous rounds.

Semis are in the books.
 Race 1 of the N/FC A semis is bondoman against pceng. Pceng gets the jump off the line, but once again, bondo is the "comeback kid" as he pulls around pceng and clips him at the line. Bondoman 1.371....pceng 1.458. Bondoman2k is going to the final!!  Race 2 is jimrussell and wazzer. This is your classic Ford Chevy battle, but as usual, the win goes to the Ford.....just kidding....kinda. Jimrussell 1.329 to a losing 1.467 for wazzer. The N/FC A main final is set. Jimrussell against bondoman2k!!

We have a winner!!
This was a great race!! Bondoman jumps out off the line...jimrussell goes by ( he's got more low end power it seems ) then bondo tries to comeback yet again, but falls just short of catching jim. Jimrussell is your Champion!! Jimrussell 1.325....bondonman2k 1.391.
Congratulations jimrussell....you are the 2013 Spring Nationals N/FC Champion!!!

Hey when the time comes for F.E.D. give my Black Snake a little oil without a warm up.
You guys are doing a great job so far. I'll check in the morning to see the final results for

Hey Guys, Great job on the races so far!! I said win lose or draw but Peter is breaking balls... So after all is said and done, could you do a run of his cuda vs my mustang..... He thinks he's funny.. So i want to show him on an impartial track with a good timing system. Once and for all lol...The numbers don't lie my 1.38 vs his 1.45 lmao No smack talk needed.So if you could run them just for fun.... TIA  Doug412 |

Ok guys we ran your grudge match. JJ is cleaning track for FED here are the results. Pceng 1.540et with .145rt to doug412 1.493et and a .165rt. Gotta go time to race FEDs.

Preliminary race went to Dragula.
WOW!!!!! First round was nothing but carnage that also included my camera. The camera is down for some unforseen reason, so we will have to rely on race descriptions for the visual. Was able to get a few pics before it crashed. Hope to have another one before the end of the race. Sorry about that
We had lots of F.E.D.'s go to the trailers in that first round due to breakage. They were dropping like flies.
Race 1 Pceng vs SKR. Pceng deslots and hands over the win to SKR's .567.
Race 2 Eagleracing vs phantombse. Eagle wins easily with a .588 and literally blew the phantoms front wheels off. Just kidding...the front wheel broke in the box after the loss.
Race 3 Chriswfo vs bondoman. Bondoman crosses the center line at mid track and hit chriswfo then flew into the track wall and broke front axle when body came off.
Race 4 Jjwallace vs sjracer. Jjwallace the #2 qualifyer deslotted right off the start and hands the win to sjracer who ran a .860.
Race 5 Slotfather vs slotfather. White bodied F.E.D. wins against the Army car with a .784.
Race 6 Jimrussell vs ninjatek. Jimrussell wins this race easily with a .570.
Race 7 Phantombse vs ninjatek. This was a double DNF. Phantombse had sparks fly out of the motor and did not move off the line while ninjatek made it to half track before blowing the crown gear.
Race 8 Eagleracing vs doug412. Eagle racing is the top qualifier, but the Dragula black magic must be working because eagle's car is dead on the start line. Doug412 wins with a .1.044.
Round 2 matchups.

Round 2 is complete and we had 1 upset in that round.
Round 2 race 1 doug412 vs SKR. They bring the cars to the line...the light goes green...SKR jumps out front and deslots immediately while doug412 bounces his way down the track. Unbelievably doug412 moves on to the semi's. What do they say...it's better to be lucky than good. Doug not implying that your not good, but you are certainly getting some luck here so far. I'd wish you good luck, but I don't think you need it...lol.
Round 2 race 2 eagleracing vs chriswfo. This race was uneventful....one of only a couple in this class so far.......eagle blisters the track with a .611 and puts chriswfo on the trailer.
Round 2 race 3 slotfather vs sjracer. Slotfather wins this easily with a .656. Wow 2 races in a row without breakage or DNF!!
Round 2 race 4 jimrussell gets a bye due to the double DNF from the previous round. Looks like he's got a little luck on his side as well.
N/TF A semi final matchups.
