Jeff, still two classes left. My x/trac's stink, but they are the only ones I have. Just hope I loose to somebody else........... lol. Just foolin buddy, always fun racing you !
Stinger, deserves congrats ! Two finals, tough loss in T/F. But racking up the points. Way to go.
Ques. for two people , Jeff, what size rear tire are you running on T/F ? Rob, was that the Wiz in semi's, what kind of brushes are you using in it ?
Alot of close racing today and great pics thanks to the racers and Phantom ......... and the crew at ATCO. ...................................... Peter

PC the blue MOPAR that went early was the Wizzard car. I was surprised it turned a .499 ET. I will rebuild that car ground up and do a better test. I still think that there is a lot of potential in that car. The brushes are standard Wizzard.

Peter the T/F tire size is right around .565 sillys I think. I had to make a last minute change on them because I found that one of the old ones was out of round. That is the same car that won at the 2013 Summer National. I was running .590 sillys on it then. Learning a lot about tire size on different builds. Some cars like a bigger tire and some don't. Doesn't always depend on gearing from what I've seen in my testing. Good job with your MM/PS! Looks like a lot of racers stepped it up. Good close racing. My cars will be faster when I get some Ford bodies on them....lol.
And yes.....definitely Congratulations to Stinger for two solid Final round showings!!

I still think that there is a lot of potential in that car. The brushes are standard Wizzard. Hey Rob, thought it would be the other way with cars. Car that won was same car that wrecked when you had it. Re-painted (6 times sanded to plastic, everything went wrong. Rock-hards went back on unlimited and magnet pieces were glued back into car. About 3/4's on the t/mags now. Your analysis of the t/mags was right-on, never would have known without it. Hard to tell from pics what a car is or is not doing. BIG THANKS, to you and Jeff. For helping with that ! Car that won has adjustable brush tubes (t-bulkhead-G3). Think I finally got it right. Been guesswork with no timming system. Might be just the trick for your Wizard. Slightest adjustment can make big difference. Last thing I did to car was tighen brushes by 1/4 turn. Thinking of going salt & pepper or all silver with btushes. Got to get faster for next race. Everybody else will be, I'm sure. .......................... Peter

Hey Jeff, noticed tires in winner circle pic. Been going with smaller tires on almost every thing. Almost like the last gear in ratio, tires are. Probably going that way on T/F. Glad it stayed on track this time, and crown held on for its last race (started slipping).
Fords huh .............. no cracks today about what slips through air faster........... T-bird won for me.

Like I said, I had to change them last minute and that is all I had. So they are smaller than I would have liked. My P/S entries responded well to a smaller tire, but with the Street....one did and the other didn't. Same gearing. Doorslammers are like that. Most of my 4g builds seem to like a bigger tire, but not the D/S. They each have different size crown gears and neither one liked a bigger tire. Go figure. So now I am stocking up on a variety of tire sizes to play around with on each build.

Jeff, I was looking at pics from early races and noticed tires all looked close to stock sizes. Figured I'd give it a shot with.gasser at last race. Fell into the big tire more top end thing for to long. ....................... Peter

I still think that there is a lot of potential in that car. The brushes are standard Wizzard. That Wizzard Mopar is great and makes me want to go out and get one of those chassis. Seems like it would have even better track times at Atco with stronger traction magnets and if the rule changses on armature timing this class will be a whole new ball game.

Thank you Tom, Wizzard is a solid race car chassis. Of course to get them to fit right takes a little bit of work. Good info on traction mags. I ran with one ceramic and one poly. I did not get to test the car. That has happen all year as I have been busy with learning 3D printing etc. Not a lot of time for making race cars go fast. Keep up the good work on race Tom.
