CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL FINALIST AND WINNERS!Great event! Thanks Al and Thunder Road crew for hosting and running
our cars. Look forward to returning to your track again. I hope you
and the enjoyed running our cars as much as we have enjoyed taking in
the results. Thanks to all of the sponsors who supported this event.
And racers when considering your slot car needs give consideration to
patronizing our sponsors first.
But wait a minute . . . this event is not quite complete yet. There is
another sponsor whose contribution kind of got lost in the mix of things.
Rick Williamson aka HairyCanary is sponsoring a random drawing of which
the three winners will receive t-shirts from the upcoming 42nd Pepsi Firenight
Nationals event taking place the coming weekend at Firebird Raceway. This is
an event in which Rick will be competing and he will personally pick-up the
t-shirts for our three winners of the random draw. Below are images of poster
from past Pepsi Firenight Nationals events.
. . .
Here is this year's event poster.
The word is t-shirts for this event are always nice. If you can't be there you
may as well have a t-shirt.
The winners were drawn using three different random list generators. Like a slot
machine each list is randomized. To win the winners name must appear in the number
one position on two of the three list. not once but twice. After 126 series of
pulls (so to speak) we have our winners. And the winners are . . .

Congratulations guys! You all are winners of a 42nd Pepsi Firenight Nationals event
t-shirt. To claim your prize send PM to hairycanary with shirt size and address of
where the t-shirt can be sent.
I suggest you get that info to him as soon as possible.Okay, I think we are done now. Or should I say
for now because coming up in
September is Labor National at Bear Creek Dragway featuring Street, Top Fuel, and
Nostalgia Top Fuel classes. Also for those who choose to dabble in 1/43 scale the
Tunerz D'Light (previously scheduled for August) event will be held one week following
the Labor Nationals. It has been a busy year and there is still much more racing to
come. Thanks to all of you that have been a part of this year's race calendar. Hope
you all will continue to participate and support NTRA proxy racing program.
See ya' at the line!
