Some great racing Jeff ,Thank you and the crew...for hosting the best show in town.. I will be back 4 more... my cars were so slow ... . back to the drawing board { blokes shed } for me....OOOOHH When do you guys and girls, think,,, you will VIDEO the racing ?? Instead of someone staging the car;s Me myself like too see the action LIVE.... Photo;s are so 70;s and 80;s...... Do;nt kick me down i just like racing....thanks NitroViking... Thanks Nitro for the good words. I definitely hope to see all of the racers from N.Z. back for more. The Match races were a blast for sure. It is a pleasure having you guys and girls at the events. I don't know if I agree that the pics are as antiquated as the 70's or 80's. They are digital after all. Maybe late 90's or 2000's....lol. Everybody has their opinion and methods on how they want to run races. We are constantly trying to improve on what we do....content vs time. I choose this way (for now anyway) with pics and video in the finals. I like this format because the pics show everyone's cars and with commentary I think it draws the event out a little more. The video's go so quick it's almost over too fast. Speaking of that....these cars (TF and N/TF) are running around .5's. They are so fast that it is kind of hard to even see what's going on. Eagle (and Kiwidave) do the multi camera angle which is helpful in seeing more of the action. Eagle's slow motion is another cool feature that he uses. I doubt that I will ever do a total video race because I like to draw it out a little more and showcase the car builds with the staged "action" pics. I appreciate the comments and look forward to seeing you in the future. Good run in Street this season.

Thanks to all the great sponsors for all of their support! You guys and gals make these races a little more special.
Just had a chance to review the racing and am pleasantly surprised to see that I won against a tough field. A lot of work went into both cars and I was happy to see it all pay off. Thanks Jim (Tjetsprigs) for making killer custom armatures.
Last but not least, Thanks JJ and Eagle for putting on a first class event. The videos and great pictures really set the tone for all of us tuning in. Great job guys!
As far as that other comment; It's all about what you like. For instance, I like my cars staged even with the car in the other lane, a lot of races come down to a nose at the stripe so knowing that I had a fair chance start/finish.... is all I could ever ask for. The videos are great and I hope to start filming my events someday to add with pictures and posted results.
Cheers!

Thanks Jeff , time difference between runs for Tyco could be a number of things. Thinking brush related. Couple of more timed passes and problem should become evident. Rob , if you would...... was this the arm you wound ? Did you advance timing..... if so how many degrees ? Type of magnets ? Any other build info you can think of....... chassis type etc. Have to run right now....... put it all together later ....... Peter Jeff

Peter I did not have enough time to wind an arm for the Patriot. As I said in an earlier post adjustable brush setup would help Tyco. The arm is a 3 ohm zero timed arm. The Patriot had brand new brush's (not broken in yet) ceramic bonded motor mags. Traction mags were one ceramic one polymer.

Peter I've got some numbers for you. Hope this is what you needed. I ran both the DBR and the Tyco (6) runs each. Oiled them up before running and checked pick ups. I tightened up the mesh on the DBR because it was slipping. DBR Lycan Match .672 .673 Testing .652 .652 .647 .643 .653 .653 Tyco Match .671 .622 Testing .650 .603 .587 .594 .608 .611
