I see it mentioned that inlines dominated last year. They should've it's not a level playing field you're asking a 5- 6 ohm pancake w/shunts and braids to outrun an outlaw inline. The winning inline arm was around 3.0 that's a heck of an advantage. Perhaps next time at least allow the same restrictions and see how creative the builders get.

Sleds (rat rules) 5/6 ohm........... Hearse , anything goes......... Last years field was.half &half. So Doug , decided to run ea seperatly after the "Anything Go's" feature event. Made three races out of the one. Yes , I did mention INLINES DOMINATED ! Just did it again , thanks for reminding me that INLINES DOMINATED ! Probably do it again soon.......... You know the expression , "don't bring a knife to a gun fight" ? Don't send one either ! ............. Unless you want to. Think people may have been fooled by hearse being an AW 4g...... trying not to let that happen again... ....... Peter |

I like that.
Some of my faster old AFX cars car run with or beat some of my slower inlines. When it comes right down to it my quickest inline can cut the time of my quickest pancake in half. It would be interesting to see if some of the highly modified pancakes could get near some of the quicker inlines at the same voltage.

And in rules 5ohm. Thought Rat rules were to be applied (14ohm). Now I understand why 5 ohm arms were brought up. And then I referred to rats being 5's. Sorry , brain fart ! Are rules to be as printed ? Need the man behind the curtain. NINJATEK , PLEASE WHEN YOU HAVE CHANCE ! ! |

THIS IS FOR THOSE THAT HAVE SIGNED UP OR WILL BE...........
Have three body styles cast or in process........ If I do fourth , which of these should get the nod. 1980 Monte Carlo or 1932 Ford Coupe ? Leave it up to the entrants............ (no front on coupe).
Time to get in gear and get the haulers moving to Doug's. 69 Super Bee's & 49-50 merc's are getting in the way of Buick Roadmasters. Buicks are big .......... don't want any Bee's getting run over before the race.

Bodies to be leadsled or leadsled influenced, with option to use Ratt body if a leadsled body not on hand. Gasser rules allow arms as low as 5ohms. The idea being most would already have a near spec chassis on hand leaving some to spend a little on a body or optionally use a Ratt or Lowrider themed body. Could be equally as cost friendly using Ratt Rod rules, but though Gassers was settled on. |

I always thought the rules were around gasses based on the NTRA schedule and rule guide posted on site.
