Dave could you please put me down for one car in Vet Inline Stock, Super Stock and Super Comp. I have a couple of questions about the stock class. Can gear ratios be changed or does it have to be what the chassis came with ? And if the gear ratios can be changed can the crown gear be altered to fit ? (Jag DR-1) and can the traction mags be repositioned (lowered) or should those mods be used in Super Stock ?

Rick, got you entered in all 3 classes.
For this race in Veteran stock, stock gears are required. In Veteran stock magnets can be moved or changed. For Super Stock any gear combo is OK and any magnet or position is allowed. Altering the Crown gear or chassis for Super Stock is OK.

Hi Dave, I'm guessing that Hard plastic bodies requested means no resin bodies? I think I'm in for 2-3 Rookie stock, just sorting out body options, I didn't want to send a Stocker body if I can help it.  Mike |

Jeff is right.. Resin is allowed as it is a form of plastic. Lexan only in Unlimited.

Super tires have arrived and all racers will get some free tires with the return of their cars. Nick also sent some prizes to be given out. I will announce how these prizes, 2 new JL/AFX slot cars, will be awarded. One was supposed to be for me but I would rather award it to a racer. One I will award to the Rookie class winner. The other I have to decide on. He also sent me a couple of Super Tire billboards that I can use for track deco as they look good.  Super tire billboard |
