Well I just realized that I made a mistake right off the bat and didn't see it till now. It doesn't affect anything except JLM got an extra pass down the track. He should not have made his bye run till Round 2. That is my error and I will correct it on the Round 2 ladder. Wendell this should not change anything with your Dial In. My apologies.
Not a good feeling to realize at the END of the day that you STARTED the day with a mistake . But, like I said, it doesn't change anything. It was the Round 1 data that everybody else got . Not a problem...your just helping me shake the bugs out.....

Round 2 Race 17 Darius has the slower ET and leaves first. The Nova is at about 2/3 track when the GTO gets his green. JLM hooks up and blisters the track to pass Darius in the traps. One problem...he goes too fast by a bunch (.4466ET) and breaks out. Darius is putting in some consistent passes today and is still in it with both his cars. Win 1.1626ET.
Round 2 Race 18 These two have traveled a long distance to race each other here. The Chevy Delivery is out first and the Cheetah is playing catch up. Mazda passes Kiwidave at the finish line but he also goes too quick and breaks out. Kiwidave takes the win 1.0731ET and is still in it.
Round 2 Race 19 Ncdragracer is the first to get the green and as luck would have it......finds some extra speed and runs .05 faster than his previous pass which....of course.....causes him to break out. The Stooges are flying and running their number today....so they are moving onto the next round. Win .4517ET.
Round 2 Race 20 Wow!! These cars are all over the place tonight. Some are getting faster....some are getting slower......don't know what to expect at this point. Hairy Canary gambles with the Head Hunter and goes 0% and uses last ET for Dial In. It was a good gamble but it didn't pay off. The Camaro breaks out by .0143. Giving the win to the Impala that slowed by a full tenth from his last run. Well they say everybody needs one lucky round...I think PO just got his. A win is a win and that's why we race. PO 1.3191ET.

That is going to be it for tonight. I wanted to try and finish Round 2 but my eyes are starting to cross. We had some good racing today and things started getting a little erratic this evening with the ET's. But that is HO bracket racing.....sometimes these cars have a mind of their own. The consistent cars are separating themselves from the rest of the group. We have 3 racers that still have 2 cars in the mix. What will tomorrow bring? I will pick things up early tomorrow morning and finish out the Bracket race before moving on to List races. Thanks for hanging in there everybody!

Great driving Curley, round 1 race 6. Congratulations. Thanks Bill but Curley has been know to feed the nitrous to the driver instead of the engine. We will see. Congrats to all the round winners.

JLM that GTO is quick. What do you have under the hood? Are you signed up for any match racing action?

JLM... This is bracket racing...JJ gave your car 2 qualifying passes to set or give you a time that your car should run... So your car needs to run near that same time, without going quicker. Apparently your car picked up speed for whatever reason and your car ran too fast. The times of two cars are punched into the computer. So if car A makes a pass in one second, and car B makes a pass in 2 seconds, when you put em both on the line to race, car B gets a one second head start. In a perfect world, both cars will cross the line at the same time... So if car B runs quicker than 2 seconds, he looses because he "broke out"(ran too quick) of his qualifying time... This type racing lets any car run any other car, no rules... So, basically, you are racing the clock/yourself instead of the other guy, hoping your car will run the same consistant time every time. Hope this helps...RM

...I'm still lost in the Drag concept....but thats fine..but my problem is the extra pass my car made....based on the ET, that was a big jump..even by my building standards......the extra pass my car made has broken it in..or as we call it in road racing "Grooved in"....so the car has adapted to the rail heights....one pass extra than the rest of the field...the time that was run in the extra pass should be ET for this run....an that would be .4783.....if I'm not correct......
By giving my car an extra pass down the track...it has an advantage of being freer than the rest of the field...so by that mistake...all my ET's are one ahead....so this ET (.4466) should be applied to my next round.... with all things being equal.....and that goes to passes down the track....
