Dave,
I should have asked it you are ok with me sending 2 cars for each class, since only one was signed up per class.
Thanks, Bill

Dave, I would like to enter two cars in each category please..
Dave, clarify please ? stock chassis must have the components they were manufactured with? I am not allowed to use a 6 OHM mean green arm in an Aurora MagnaTraction (4-gear or AFX) type chassis because neither of those were issued with that 6 OHM mean green armature? similarly, I cannot use the blue tip green wire drag arm that came in the Non MagnaTraction Aurora chassis in an Aurora Magnatraction (or Auto World 4-gear) chassis? am I allowed to use Auto World magnets in Aurora chassis? I think these questions are self evident, but, I would like clarification before I continue building. also, .... traction magnets , is there a limited number per chassis? or location requirement?
while I realize that most folks are using Auto World chassis because of the ready availability, some of us have older Aurora chassis and parts and it would be interesting to see how the old stacks up against the new.
also, for anyone interested, I will run a similar event on my 1/8 drag strip after Dave's race and folks can make arrangements to send me their cars if interested.

Well here we are again....less than a week from the mail date for the NTRA International in New Zealand. Looks like everyone is getting their cars posted in plenty of time. If your cars are not in the mail yet, you are going to be putting their fate in the hands of the good ole USPS to get them here in time. Thursday is the absolute last day for arrivals. Anything after that will not make the trip. Cars will be mailed Friday morning. Jeff Wallace 410 Harrington Lane Euless, Texas 76039
I am looking forward to the race as I always am and looks like a great turnout. I hope we will still see some of the Kiwi cars make a showing even if we have enough from the US for a field of 16. You guys and gals are great competitors! Kiwidave thank you for your continued efforts in running these events at Voltage Valley!
Good luck to all that have entered the race!

Thanks Dave Thanks this is the car I built for the trip to Voltage Valley Raceway. Thought it would be cool to restore one of the original FC's to try to compete with the more modern Flip Tops. But in testing it proved to be to big of a Pig (to heavy) and I didnt have time to try and lighted it so I had to resort to the LA Hooker Mustang. Plus the aerodynamics where very poor too. This was Jungle's First FC after driving The BRUTUS GTO. This car had COLE Chevrolet on the door before he became Jungle Jim. That's his wife Bobby (Pre Jungle Pam) with the prime can. Maybe next year ?

I remember when the "Funny" cars first made their appearance back in the late 60s.They were basically stock cars with altered wheelbases to put more weight on the rear wheels. Blowers were added later on, etc. etc.
