Well it's been 6 months since the Winter Nationals and Bear Creek Dragway is getting fired up to run the Texas Nationals in a little more than a month. This event is also a Pro Street Outlaw and Four Gear Outlaw meeting as well. I have not decided the race format yet, but I am thinking that I might run the List races the following weekend??? This is already shaping up to be another great event this season as we have 23 entries across the board. That's pretty awesome and I am looking forward to running the event. Still plenty of time for those that aren't signed up yet! Get on the list and start building those cars! Inline Stock....4 gear Super Comp....Best in Show....List racing........We want to see you there!! NTRA Texas Nationals at Bear Creek Dragway North Texas September 28 - 30, 2018

Wow that car is flying! Looks like my drag" lame " is getting pulled, i have a mean green set aside for the future list car im working on. My rail is running .450-.460 and at .495 lost the crown gear in the altered. List cars are ready and beating thier old records consistently. The inlines are coming around as well.can hardly wait but wish i had more time ,the story of life i guess

LOL......sorry guys. No that is my unlimited 4 gear. It ran a .4763 ET @ 26v on that particular pass. My Super Comp is not that fast. I'm in the process of tuning my two cars. I will post some times so everyone has an idea of what to look for on their cars. This is my other unlimited 4 gear. I posted this awhile back on my Bear Creek thread. Just a little pre race teaser.......although we aren't running unlimiteds. First dragster is running 3ohm motor w/timing and poly magnets. Second dragster is running 3ohm motor w/timing and neo magnets. There is more in it believe it or not. These were fun when we were racing them.....the carnage was crazy! Here are a few shots from the rail of the AJR cars during tonights baseline tuning runs for the Texas Nationals. These runs were made on a dirty track, so there should be some more out there. I documented 660' for those of you tuning on 1/8 mile tracks, 1000', and MPH.
4 gear Super Comp Wedge Dragsters 24v - Green dragster .4695 / .6515ET 18.2mph - Green dragster .4599 / .6354ET 18.8mph - Wedge dragster .4571 / .6362ET 19.7mph - Wedge dragster .4605 / .6391ET 19.8mph
Inline Stock 20v - DR1 Truck .4603 / .6382ET 19.7mph - DR1 Truck .4555 / .6301ET 20.1
Green Wedge is a Hairy Canary casting (thanks Rick) that I'm still working on. The purple and blue Wedge is an Eagle Racing casting.
AJR '52 Chevy truck casting on a DR1 chassis. The rake is too aggressive, but I'm running a large tire on the rear.

Jeff thanks for posting some times for TF. I have no idea what a good ET would be. Your dragster is looking really nice. You can't see them in the picture but a early post showing the headers coming out the bottom of the body FC style I really like the look. I haven't got to do one of those bodies yet I saved one to do in the future.

This is what I've been working on for The Texas Nationals. I've been working on the rear engine canopy car for awhile now. I still have a lot to do to finish it. The front motored chute pack is closer. I've been working on that for awhile and remodeled it over and over to. But you get to the point where you have to stop cutting, chopping and filling and you say enough already. I would say the rear motored car won't get done in time ? Some things I want to change ? The front axle is giving me fits, trying to mount it in away that the front end is low with the bigger tires and still looks good ? Hopefully I can get the FE car done or I will be sending my old cars. My biggest problem is I cant stick to one thing. Something new gets into my head like this Competition Coupe Nash. That's my latest idea among others.Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr Untitled by rick williamson, on Flickr

SICK....SICK....and SICK again!!! Those are sweeeeeet!! Love the canopy and really love that CC Nash. Hope you can get them done in time for the race...even if in primer. Those are all super nice Rick and just so you know.....your not the only one that has the visions in your head and can't stick with one thing....lol. Thanks for the good word on the FED I am building. When I was pulling the flame stencils off, it pulled the paint up on the right side. I was able to repair it, but when I went to pull tape on the repair, it did the same @**$%#! thing again. Soooo.....design change. The sides are going to get something other than flames. Not sure what yet. Thanks for posting.

I still use drivers so a holeshot win is not out of the question. Now that I have a better Trackmate timing system, I can set the tree at .1 or .2 seconds which allows drivers to leave on yellow and pretty much eliminates red lights. The only way to get a red light is to leave before the tree activates which is stooooopid....lol. We have had many upsets over the years and to me it makes the racing more fun. Fastest car does not always win.
