The New Zealand cars made it here today. All of the International racers are in the house. Lots of space still in the pits. Yeup ! I seen them coming in over Northern California last night, Hot And Heavy ! Looking to kick some American Butt. From the looks of the header flames they had 98% in the tank, set on Kill and loaded for Bear !! We Americans better have our tune ups in order. Kiwi 98% NITRO by rick williamson, on Flickr

Nice job on the Kiwi challenge trophy. My confidence does not run high with my 4 gear cars, hopefully some of the
other USA team members can hold up the trophy for us. My gassers should be strong at this event and my stockers should do OK.
I have put a different chassis in the Rebel so we will see what happens there and Jungle Jim had been partying.

Been working on two new cars for the upcoming race. A Capri Nostalgia FC. Sporting NZ and USA colors, and a 57 Vette Gasser. Along with a new picture taking place. Seems like every time I took a picture it looked like a wrecking yard in the back ground. It's a Viper display stand which is very cool. it comes in gray so I painted it white and the back board is going to be interchangeable so when I get sick of a back ground I can just change the back ground or just have it white. The Art Work of the Tooned 66 Plymouth Valiant Pro Mod was done by my buddy Dano. His work is incredible. I used a piece of 7 X 12 X.080 styrene sheet painted it white and made the water slide decals with a laser printer which I'm starting to get figured out. It gave me problems at first now it seems to be working good. The colors are better than I thought they would be. Now I need to start tuning and I have one Gasser Chassis to build for my Falcon and get My PSO car to run. Just can't figure that one out. Cant wait for the race to get here. You know how I feel about the Challenge. It's been nothing short of epic everytime. I don't know that we can continue to match the drama that has unfolded for the last three, but we will just have to see what happens. I'm kinda hoping that super cool trophy doesn't leave North Texas ! Be sure and pass on my thanks to the Kiwi boys for continuing to be a part of the Challenge.

Thanks for all the good words on my stuff. Had a lot of goof ups and re do's. I started tuning today and what a mess. Should have never started. Should have left them alone. I had to build a gasser and the first tests where pretty good then I don't know what happened ? See what I can make go slower tomorrow ? Jeff Thanks for posting those times. I was wondering how far I was off on the Gassers. For some reason I figured they where in the .590 range ? Who knows they could be ?

Jeff put me in for two gassers and two t-jets. I have a KIWI challenge car on standby if needed also. Blue Silk and Purple Haze will also show. Vince your cars showed up today safe and sound as well. I almost have the LED gantry's done for you. So they will be going back with your cars. I know you weren't in a hurry, but I appreciate your patience anyway. Glad you are in the event, you and your cars have been to all or almost all of my events over the years. Thanks and good luck. No problem Jeff. Thanks for building the gantries and holding the rece.

The cars from SC finally got on the road today. A few familiar cars and a few new ones. The bodies planned for the 4GO and Kiwi Challenge didn't make it out of the body shop, in time for the race, so a couple of Cudas stepped up at the last minute. What was intended to be a mostly Corvette team ended up being Mopar Heavy. Panther Pink Challenger - Tjet Stock Henry J "Stardust" - Gasser Blue Cuda FC - Kiwi Challenge Black & Gold Vette - PSO Green Cuda - 4GO

Jeff I mailed my cars out yesterday. Except if I can I would like to add a stock T-Jet if its not to late. I finished it today and will mail it out tomorrow. My first stock T-Jet. I did't think it would be a fun build but it was a blast. There a Cute build. I wish I had time to do another. I used what I had.
Thanks Rick
