 Smoky Mountain Spring Nationals 5/ 22-24th 2020

First class to qualify will be the 1.0 index. Car closest to 1.0000 with be top qualifier and so forth down the line. Cars under 1.0 will be listed below all the legal
qualifiers in the order closest to 1.0.

First up we will show the break out cars. These cars will DQ if they run these times in eliminations. Where it shows ETDI in the 
negative that shows how much you broke out by, there were a lot of break outs.
In this case fastest car will be seeded last and will run against the TQ. Some of the cars that ran under but close to
1.0 could be a real threat as they might slow some in eliminations.

Next we have the upper half including a great fight for TQ,  just .006 separates the top 2 cars. Note the Vette had a slightly slower 60' than the Dodge but slightly
better MPH which means it was a come from behind edge. This should be a great match if they both make it deep into the field.

That’s an Auto World Super III.  Bought it for the body but Super IIIs have a unique mounting system, so it won’t work with traditional AFX chassis’.

Glad to finally find a use for one.

Next qualifier Super Stock.


I had to use 3 sheets to show all the cars. Had quite a few problems with some cars even making it down the track.
I did a little bit but do not have a lot of time to spend fixing the cars. Some got one run some did not make it at all down the track.
All runs are not even shown on the sheets as they were a bunch of .999s
Congrats to Finistauri on  his TQ.

Finistauri with a BSRT powered 55 Chevy taking the time by only .002 over Pete. This is another race that promises to be extremely close in the later stages with
many cars running in the .5 range.

hmmmmmm, the way my cars are performing I guess I better test in the future. not like I don't know to do that already.
