Ok I'm spent. That was a full day of racing for sure. Good thing is the hardest part is done. I think these next two Classes will be even more fun. I love seeing those big dragsters going down the track. Thanks for all the good words today. Congratulations to Al on his big Inline Super Comp win today! Great job by everyone. I will be back early tomorrow.

Congrats to Rick. I may have to get a Chevy. Not!!! Thanks Mike good couple of races. I left them alone from Al’s race didn’t want to screw them up plus I ran out of tuning time which apparently is a good thing. Rick

Texas Nationals Day 3 Schedule:Good morning racers and race fans!! Yesterday was a great day of racing to say the least. I want to congratulate EVERYONE for building some fantastic cars. The competition was fierce throughout the whole day. Alpink took the honors with a blistering Finals pass and Hairy Canary was right there in case he slipped up. I would like to add that HC ran those fast numbers without braids. I just don't know how you do that! Anyway...I was blown away by a lot of the builds!Today promises to be even more exciting and competitive. Anytime you have a big bodied cars going down the track at 24v it's going to be exciting! Some of these cars are flat getting it done too! But as Gnome mentioned this morning....there could be some gear crunching with these. There were some nasty sounds coming from some of these during Qualifying. I can hardly wait! Today's schedule Up first....4 Gear Super CompFollowed by....4Gear UnlimitedFinish up with....Remaining Match RacesI have some track prep to do and populate the ladder. I will post the Round 1 ladder after that and then......
It's on!!
Good luck everybody!

4 Gear Super Comp Preliminary Round ladder
* There was one racer that withdrew and Qualifying order and ladder were adjusted to reflect an 18 car field. ** Kstocks #4 Wedge dragster did not get a time in Qualifying but I was able to replace the pick up shoes and get the car running. He will be included in eliminations at the #18 Qualifying spot.

First two Preliminary runs to get into the Field of 16 are complete. I called this Round 1 yesterday because we had many more cars racing to get into the field. Today they are Preliminary with Round 1 coming up.
The first 4 Gear Super Comp cars pull to the line to start the days Eliminations.
Race 1 Comet vs Gibbo61 These cars are trying to make it into the Field and know what's at stake. Lights drop and the looong dragster is going to surge it's way to the win. Gibbo61's green Altered is going home early. Both cars improved for that pass. Comet 1.0085et to 1.1460et
Race 2 Comet vs Kstocks Comet is trying to get his second car in the Field. Kstock had mechanical issues in Qualifying but were able to get the car running for Eliminations. Comet's car slows slightly from Qualifying but it wouldn't have mattered. The Wedge is running strong and moves into the Field. We are set for Round 1. .6379et to 1.0000et
