It looks like the Kiwis are sporting a really strong team this time.  My cars are ready so when the outlaw cars get back from Washington I will check the them over and they will then be coming back along with Iain’s entry. |

****RACE UPDATE****
We are just over a month away from the race and it's coming too fast for me right now. Things have been crazy ridiculous here for the last week but we are almost back to normal. I am doing several things in preparation for the race so we should be good by Raceday.
I want to remind everyone the importance of mailing EARLY and not trusting 2 day or next day deliveries! Late arrivals will get as much consideration and delay as I can offer but I do not have the luxury of postponing anything. So please don't wait till the last minute. I want everyone that entered to be able to race.
I will be going through the track before the event and giving it a tune up. Also making sure all of this brutally cold weather did not have and effect on the electronics out there. I will be firing it all up this weekend.
Anyway.....I hope everybody is tuning on their cars. We are running some cool Classes and I am looking forward to seeing these cars run! The New Zealand racers are bringing it with the largest Team yet! Expect every car to be a Class winner because they will be. It's going to be EPIC again!! |

I got my 4 gear stock running even better as it hit a .96 @ 18 volts pushing almost 15 MPH, just wanted worry the Kiwi's a little bit. Mike convinced me to put some nice rims on the 57. These aluminum ones dress it up some. Also blackened out the grille background, a tip I got from ECBill. Holding those rear wheels on with a set screw worries me some, the allen wrench spins when you try to tighten it, poor setup. I did grind a little groove in the axle to allow the set screw to hold better.  Alum rims

Looks like the Kiwi's got quite a crew together. Do we have enough cars to match them? I only have one good one, my other 4 gear stock can't pull a bum out of bed but I will work on it if we need it.

I counted 13 so far from New Zealand, our list shows 14 with GTS showing 2. We should
have it covered if everyone sends in their cars.
