Yep should be from start to the specific sensor...then the last mph is from the last sensor in line to the finish. right now my last sensor is 660 before the finish. So it uses the 660 to finish as the last mph but in the 660 box is from start to sensor. Et box Mph shows from 660 to finish. So if I add a sensor after the 660, say a foot before the finish then I should have a speed trap set up closer to what you have.
After I add the speed trap ,my speed trap will be 12 " before the finish to the finish. Although I think it will also give me a time and mph from start to speed trap sensor.
Thats how I'm reading it on the site where they talk about drag race coordinator.
It looks like the guy writing the program wasn't understanding what they were asking for at first as a speed trap. He made it so you can put unlimited number of segments he calls them = start to specific sensor all the way to the finish. He had to go back and change it to actually make a speed trap. To do this easy for him he just made the last segment read from last sensor to finish.
Probably should have wrote this in Dynomike and Skillets excellent timing adventure.

I see, he uses the whole distance from one sensor to another. That will not give a true speed reading however.

Sam I was trying to figure out how it was figuring out the MPH going from the start sensor to the various sensors?? as there usually has to be a speed trap to get MPH. Seems to be working OK and 12.2 MPH is not to bad. I would work on getting the 60' down without losing to much speed. Try different traction magnets and heights along with tires. If you have a magnet tester try and find some better ceramic motor magnets. Nothing to strong or that will kill performance also, especially in a stocker. I put some poly magnets in the old PSO Rebel and it took 3 MPH off the top end. Did cut the 60' down some but not enough to make up for the lost top end. They were some strong poly's however reading in the 1800-1900 range. I think some 12-1400 would have worked well. I just want to make sure no one is confused here. Dave is speaking of poly magnets from a tuning standpoint. Poly motor magnets are only allowed in Super Comp and Unlimited not in Stock or for the Kiwi Challenge.

Copy that Jeff... On the 3gear super comp are we staying with the .490 tire max height?

Nice trophy! I have checked out my Gassers for the upcoming event. Both running just as good as they were at GTS's race. The Camaro edged out the Willy's when I tested them but that is what they did here the last time. I did get a chance to work on Finistauri's Willy's however and it will be a contender. Got my 4 gear stocker running even better, wont touch it anymore I promise. Looking forward to the race. I think this is the largest contingent of racers we ever had from New Zealand, should be a good show. I have a question? Will the race be run on a ladder? Our fastest vs their fastest and so on down the line with total wins deciding who is the winner?

I literally pick names out of a hat for the Matches. Best 2 out of 3. I will have all of the New Zealand cars listed and then put Nitroslots racers in the hat and go down the line.
I haven't done any tuning on my 4g Stock Pinto. My time has been on getting my 4g Unlimited back together. I've made some changes....hopefully for the better. Getting close to making some passes.

My Super Comp cars are running in the .58 -.60 range @ 20v. One is my old PSO rebel which is unchanged from it's old warrior days, and would qualify for comp or PSO right now, I tried Poly magnets in it and they took 3 MPH off of the speed but ET was similar due to a quicker 60'. It still holds my track record for PSO, having run a .54 at 18 volts when it was really flying, for that kind of chassis. The armature in that has at least 200 passes on it. The other is the body Mike did for me with a mean green 5.9 armature, and it has low power Poly magnets, (1400-1500 gauss vs. 1800-1900 at the high end) which worked best and did not kill the trap speed to much, maybe 1 MPH. They are very close in ET with the Rebel being a little more consistent and having a little more trap speed but the Vette takes the early lead while the 57 Chevy plays Catch up.

Awesome! Those are some killer times. What will be the voltage at Jeff's race for 3 gear SC?
