Congrats again to Swiftkart/Steve for a great showing, the Unlimited Inline red 57 Nomad had never lost a race before. Competition improves the breed and that is what is needed. Lots of improvements and great times in all the fields that had been run before and the bar was set in the 2 new classes.

Thanks everyone.
Thanks Dave for hosting a great event, it had to be exhausting running and keeping track of so many cars for 3 straight days, my hat is off to you!

Agreed, Dave and Jeff do a super job, so does Gale at GTS. Don’t know if you have entered one of his events yet. Hopefully you will next time around. All 3 are great. They set the bar pretty high.

If you have not done one of these events you have no idea how long it takes. Prep generally starts long before the race. The week of the race you are opening the incoming packages and logging in all the cars. It takes about 2 full days to do that. The actual qualifying takes a full day of about 10 hours. The races take about 2 12 hour days with a break for lunch. Packing the cars for return shipping is another full day. Now I go overboard by running 5 classes and 2 list races which is actually crazy. Takes a lot of dedication to do it. If anyone is considering holding an event I would suggest starting with one or a max of two classes. I would like to thank all the racers for attending, Super tires and all our racer sponsors and for sure Mike, Finistauri, for staying two days to help out with the racers, about a 3.5 hour trip back home, he went home tired. Thanks to Jeff Wallace for helping with the list racing.
