Sam, my car got back yesterday. Thanks for putting on the race. You put a lot of work into it, and it showed. Thanks to the sponsors for some great prizes. Congrats to all the winners.

Hey Sam. The video was pretty awesome! I know how much work goes into a short 30sec video much less a 9 minute one. Great job!

Thanks guys. That's the motivation I needed to make better videos. Kiwidave was the Master of the video race coverage. Check out his races at Voltage Valley for some ideas if you haven't already. Your video was really done well Sam for real. You did a great job! I look forward to more, but I realize the time it takes. I'm not sure what software or medium you are using, but that has a lot to do with how hard something can be. I am a total novice and need all the help I can get. Speaking of motivation....you have motivated me to make sure I get the videos I take posted during the race. That doesn't always get done. It's all about TIME....or lack thereof. I appreciate you! There have been some cool videos from past races that have gotten lost in the vast sea of posts. I know Eagle did several really good one's in the past. I think most of those fell victim to the Photobucket hostage taking. Actually seeing the cars in action is always cool.

I remember seeing some of Kiwi Dave's in the slot lodge. I'll definitely have a look what he has posted here.
Everything is off the phone. It puts the videos in my gallery.
Then if I press the three button looking thing in the top corner it has some options. I select create and I can put a check mark on Pictures or the videos... When I finish checking off what I'm after , I hit more and it ask what I want to create. Select movie and it puts it in a crazy movie edit mode. I just realized on the second try of the movie that it puts the videos or pictures in order the way you select them. First to last.
It let's you move size and length of each selected item on its own so editing is not bad just time.
I'm having a hard time with sounds but I'll figure it out.
From what I've been told if you have a cloud or something like that it will take the stuff from your phone and put it on a computer by opening the cloud on the computer? Sounds simple but not anything I really know about. Once I figure this cloud business out I'm hoping to use an old phone with my phone so I can use two cameras and put them together in the cloud?
We all want to see the finish, but there is so much action in the start I wish we could see. Especially the bikes. Maybe Eric Von Zipper will have the movie crew together by then...I'll have to check with the Canary!

They go back to the original Blacktop and Bear Creek you can see how the track's changed over the years. There are awesome wrecks, slow motion wheelies off the line and bracket racing etc. . If there is interest in the old videos I will start posting and write about what you are seeing.

I was thinking about creating a thread to post some of that stuff. Since you have saved some of those, that would be pretty cool I think.

Sam, you put on one heck of a show. Thanks to all the sponsors and thank you for the time you put in. I want to also think you for encouraging me to send in the pink lemonade. It was my best showing to date. If it hadn't been for that Kenny Rogers song "you picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel" the outcome might have been better. I tightened up the lug nuts and picked up .02 . I won't let that happen again. Rick said he didn't know what a Madonna was. I think he has sniffed to much Nitro.

I'm glad everyone is happy with their prizes. That was probably the hardest part of the race splitting that stuff up.
I was talking with Morris from Slottech updating him about the race. I think he was surprised at how many cars and bikes we had in the pictures. Sent him the videos to. Maybe I can get him to race next summer slam with us. Anyway if anybody is looking to order anything from Slottech I have his phone number. He said for us to just get ahold of him directly. Call or text probably best to text he goes to bed earlier than anyone I have ever met in my life. Just be sure to mention Skillet or Nitro slots or both. You can pm me or ask in here and I'll pm you his number.
He has parts for everything. The website for Slottech is not that great. What I do is text him the part I'm looking for then what chassis it belongs to.
