So what are the rules for a 3GO and 4GO list car, are they basically 3 & 4 super comp cars or comp cars? Is the 3GO a Tjet or 3 gear magnatraction car? Asking because I'm trying to decide if I want to build one of each and give the list a go. Thanks, Steve Steve your cars for the Kiwi Challenge should be fine. Don't worry about it. Hey everyone. I want to inform all about my absence from the forum. As we approach our golden years life and family issues take over and create chaos. Mother Natures little twist's on life have finally gotten under control. Now that things have calmed down I can get back to racing again. JJ. as for classes at your next event I think we should have an all t-jet style chassis race. SS, Pro Stock, Gasser. And for those who like speed a t-jet unlimited class. This my bring in more newbies in at the entry level. List shake up I give two thumbs up. Kiwi race is what it is. We got spanked and taken to the cleaners. As long as both teams stick to the same set of rules the better team will prevail. At any 4 gear stock race I have built my cars from Nitro Slots rules. I am under the impression the Kiwis use Nitro slots stock 4 gear rules to whoop our butts.

Sam said no Tjets, but a Tjet is allowed I guess, Lol 3 gear with ears should have an advantage over a Tjet if the race weight is the same, I will try and put something together

Sorry Steve I had no idea we could run a tjet. I thought it was xtraction and afx. I believe I gave someone else some bad information on the tjet for list.

It would take a special Tjet to out run a AFX style 3g in Comp spec all weighing the same, not saying it can't be done, it would be a challenge (hum), Tjet would have a better chance in SC spec though.

Just for the record, ...... JJ are you saying that 4 gear unlimited won't be run? I thought that was a mainstay at your races? Please let me know about that one asap.

No Sir they will not be running for this meeting. There are some other things going on. With the ET's that those are running now, I am going to need to extend my shut down before I run them again. Maybe this Spring or maybe a "special" race when I get that done. I do have an idea for that. Thank for asking. |

There was a thread that had a lot of that information, but I don't see why a Tjet can't run too. That has been talked about in the past. We are using the posted NTRA Pancake Comp rules in the rules thread now, but I will update that thread as well to reflect Tjet if you guys want to run them. |

But that is yet another reason the NTRA rules were written the way they were with the discription Pancake Stock, Pancake Comp, etc. So any chassis could be substituted or combined if desired. But originally PSO was all about the AFX style chassis. Nobody has said anything about it till now. The question was asked so if no one has any objections, I don't see why the Tjet cant be included. Ya'll good with that? |
