OK here we go. I am sorry, it took me a little bit to get my match racing rhythm. I am going to run these three at a time.Match 1 Matt S'Cool Bus vs Chriskingsley SuperbirdRace 1 Hearts are pumping all over this place as the first cars pull to the line. First passes were close. The Bus is out first past the 60' marker, but the Superbird drives by and pulls 3 cars through the traps. Win goes to Chris 1.0684et to 1.1277et.Race 2 OK first pass jitters are done with now it's time for these guys to focus. This time the Superbird stutters at the hit and the Bus gets out 2 cars and keeps it there through the traps. Matt wins race 2 and evens the score 1.0807et to 1.1032et. This on is going to three.Race 3 WOW!! This was the closest race of the event so far. I'm telling you these cars know what's up! They step it up when it matters. The Bus runs it's best ET but Chris squeeks this one out with a holeshot win! This was all car. They leave at the same time on a simultaneous switch. Chris takes the match 1.0720et to a faster 1.0694 .0003wm. NZ NS 1
Match 2 Mustang Paul Tru Blu Truck vs Ecbill Kiwi Challenger II
Race 1 The truck is out first and holds the lead past half track and then the Mopar gets up on the tire and drives by in the speed trap. Win number one goes to Ecbill 1.0070et to 1.0110.
Race 2 Tru Blue leaves first again but can only hold it to about the 330' before the Challenger goes by. Good runs by both cars but Ecbill had more horsepower today .9826et to 1.0130et. Ecbill takes the Match in two.
NZ NS 2
Match 3 Ron Ruda Cuda vs JJWallace King Cuda
Race 1 The cars stage and the lights drop......the King Cuda leads at every interval and takes the first win. The red Cuda is a little off pace but is right there if JJ has a hiccup. .9578et to 1.0464et.
Race 2 Both cars slow slightly but it is the same story only in the opposite lane. JJ leads wire to wire to take the match in two and put Nitroslots up 3 to 0. .9683et to 1.0567et.
NZ NS 3
But we know how this story goes. It ain't over till it's over........

Match 4 Sandfly Scribble Cuda vs Ecbill Kiwi Challenger I
Race 1 The cars leave tied together and remain that was all the way down the track. Ecbill gets the win by 3/4 of a car. Challenger gets the first win .9984et to 1.0227et.
Race 2 That was super close. The Challenger got out first but Sandfly came from behind to snatch the win at the stripe. Great race! 1.0001et to 1.0074et. This one is going to a third.
Race 3 These cars did not move off of each others window for the full pass. Ecbill pulls this one out by .0081 in the traps....super close .9871et to .9961et.
NZ NS 4
Match 5 Alan Ramcharger vs Gnome Motorcraft Willys
Race 1 Alan gets out on the Willys as it stumbles off the line. Gnome is able to make it up though and pass the Ramcharger down track for the win .9524et to .9950et.
Race 2 The Ramcharger slows from his last pass and Gnome leaves smooth and picks it up quite a bit for win number two and the match .8978et to 1.0290et.
NZ NS 5
Match 6 Mustang Paul 50 Ford vs Swiftkart JFR Camaro
Race 1 Swiftkart has been aching for a rematch after Mustang Paul beat him at the KC #5 and as luck would have it, he is going to get to race him twice. The JFR Camaro is a little off pace but is able to put some distance on Paul to take the first win. The Ford is running strong but is looking for some more horsepower for the next race. .9131et to .9810et.
Race 2 Paul wheel hops at the hit and it's all over at that point. Swiftkart easily takes the win and the match in two .9033et to 1.0382et.
NZ NS 6
This is not looking good for the New Zealand team. They don't look to be panicking but there is some concern. We have seen this scenario before though and like I said before....it's not over till it's over. But they need to get a few wins pretty soon.

Congratulations on MM Steve. taking out Al's corvette is an accomplishment alone.
I noticed Adam builds cars like Rick. They just get faster the more they run.

Steve, Congrats on your MM/PS win. I knew you were coming for me and when I saw where you were in qualifying I thought this might happen. you did your homework and your "away" work and deserve the win. might be time for a tune up on my Vette, or maybe retire it with grace.
NitroSlots guys, GOOD JOB on the Challenge so far. that is what I call "representing"!! hope I can hold up my end!

Match 7 Mustang Paul Trojan Horse Mustang vs Swiftkart STR Camaro
Race 1 Mustang Paul leaves on Swiftkart and leads at every interval to take the first win. The Camaro was hanging right on his bumper. .8891et to .8941et.
Race 2 The Mustang moves first to 60' but the Camaro takes it back after that and keeps pulling down the track. Swiftkart wins 2nd race .8677et to .9020et.
Race 3 This is it for the Match. Both cars step it up for this final race. They may not see each other for awhile. But Swiftkart is going home with the race win and the match this time .8670et to .8786et.
NZ NS 7
Match 8 MPR Army Funny Car vs Alpink Camaro
Race 1 MPR has it all on his shoulders right now. If he doesn't win this match, it's over for New Zealand. Nitroslots wins the Challenge and the trophy. They need to win out from here to stay alive. The crew chief was under the Army cars hood right up until the burnout. They're staged...lights drop...MPR leaves first and pulls the Camaro all the way down the track. MPR takes win number one easily. Al's team is trying to find some extra HP before the next run. MPR .9219et to 1.0284et.
Race 2 Here we go. Can the Army car get it done? He can and does. MPR wins the match in two and keeps N.Z. alive. Al's car made good passes but was just down on power today. MPR .9112et to 1.0586et.
NZ 1 NS 7
Match 9 Sandfly Jungle Jim vs 68Olds442 Wonder Wagon Cuda
Race 1 Same story.....Sandfly has to keep it alive. This was a great race! Sandfly gets out first and carries the lead the length of the track only to have 68Olds clip him right at the stripe. Win margin .0006 68Olds wins .9512et to .9525et.
Race 2 Here it is for all the marbles. The Wonder Wagon Cuda is going to take the win decisively and clench the Challenge win and the trophy for Nitroslots. Sandlfy's Camaro was right on the Cuda's bumper the whole way. 68Olds wins .9344et to .9442et.
NZ 1 NS 8
There is a Nitroslots mosh pit at the starting line. They're just jumping all over each other! But there are still 6 matches left to run, so let's get this done. Congratulations Nitroslots!
