3.5 ohm custom arm . Black mamba magnets. Any crown gear. No braid or shunt. I forgot to ask about rear tire size. I'll get back to you on tires. No braid or shunt is just going to overwork the motor, especially since you are limiting the build to just black mamba magnets which are better suited for 5 to 10 ohms. If I'm being honest it reads like an oddball setup that has already been built and tested by someone, given the exact motor ohm, magnet brand and braid/shunt not allowed restriction, it will be interesting to watch. |

Tire for the 3.5 winder grudge match will be .610 max slip on tire. Yes it will be a little bigger than .610 on the rim. You can go smaller if you like.

I now have a complete running car.another little hitch i ran into was that the instructions say the blue mag to the rear,only if you want to go backwards.

Getting a head start on the Mustang build. Got this one all torn apart and ready for paint. The hood looked kinda empty to me so I added a small street scoop. It compliments the wing. Rick sent me some cool paint that I am going to try. I have a vision:) .....hopefully it turns out like I want.

Question on wheelie bars. No wheelie bars unless some came in your kit OR I did say you could use the packaging itself, so if your feeling crafty and make some plastic packaging wheelie bars I'm good with that.

My Christmas exchange car is in a similar condition as Jeffs now. I have a running chassis and the body in primer. Now for the fun part, getting it to look the part  . This will be a really fun project. |

I still haven't settled on a paint scheme but i do have the first coat of Wimbledon white laid down. I also wound my 3.5 for the challenge. Headed now to shovel the 8 inches of snow off the walks then lay down some more paint and hopefully get the arm in a car.
