It's time to find out who made the best ET guess for the Tbird. I ran a bone Stock Tyco 440X2 with a '57 Tbird body at 20v. Two passes were made. The first was a warm up and test pass and the second was for time.
The Thunderbird made a healthy pass with a .9505ET.
And the winner is............
Comet with a guess of .9270 a difference of .0235!
Hank you have won a Tyco '57 Thunderbird body and a vintage SKR Drag Resin Ford Thunderbolt 4g body! Congratulations!!

Next up for the ET Guessing Game will be two cars. The way this will work is guess the ET of both cars individually. I will take the difference between the two guesses and average them. Best average wins. These cars will run at 22v. The second car is also a Jag DR-1 chassis with a Hairy Canary Extreme Topolino Altered body, Stock armature and magnets, Pro Track fronts, Braids, 8/25 gears, .560dia. tire, wheelie bars, and modified traction magnets. The winner will receive this new Compact Digital Multimeter.

Congratulations on the game Hank.
What chassis Bill? Sounds like timing is off. If possible switch motor mags around and flip the axle and see how it runs... if you can't flip the axle your S.O.L. . You will have to try and manipulate the comm one way or the other.

Congrats to Hank!
My dad inherited several meters from friends as they passed. Then I eventually inherited them all including my dad's multi meter when he passed. Plus I had my own. Isn't against a law somewhere that a man can only own half a dozen of these at one time?
It's best to leave this generous gift to those that need it more than me. A big thanks goes to Jeff for the gift!
Plus, I still have my analogue multi meter. My tongue can easily taste the difference between 110 and 220-volts. You just can't talk for about an hour after.

You will have to try and manipulate the comm one way or the other. It’s an old Blazin Brakes or Speed Shifter chassis, similar to Super Magnatraction and distant cousin of the G+. Not sure if axle can be flipped.

It's really not that generous of a gift. Nice little meter for the hobby but nothing special. You can give it away if you don't want it. Besides I'm pretty sure everybody already has a multimeter. So come on......give it a guess anyway.

That TBird is pretty fast for a stock Tyco. Sent a few cars down the strip to get an idea what one of the these 440X2s would do. Most of the stockers spun the tires all the way down the track.😎
Congratulations on your winning time Hank!

My second fastest in-line SS car is will be stying home. About every 3rd or 4th pass it just sits on the line at the hit. Everything looks to be intact and working as it should. Heard of some cars that just won’t go when the arm stops in a certain position. Looks like this might be one of them. I have not seen that before. You are welcomed to send it and see if it acts any different here. If it does you can make the call to run it or not.If it does come to the track, it'll be a sideshow. Won't be representing team SC.
