Right side of the ladder will bring Dave632 in his red camaro and Comet in the red maverick. Here comes the green and they are away.

Starting line advantage goes to Comet but here comes that mouse power.

To the big end and the camaro is running full steam ahead.

Dave632 will move in to round 2.

Next up new to nitro slots is Tjetter and the Isky Mustang and Pete in the Fairlane.

They are off but there is no separation in these two at the 660.

I can't tell who's in the lead as the drivers are talking to each other all the way down. This is going to be a photo finish!

It's going to be Tjetter moving on! Look at that win margin!

Ok now here is something we hate to see. Team cars in Steve E-D will take each other on in round 1.

Challenger vs Challenger and they are off.

Half track and the pink challenger is out front but we still have another half track left.
Up to the big end it's going to be the yellow Challenger pulling out the win.

Either way we knew Steve E-D was going to next round now we know so will the yellow Challenger.

Next pair will see Gramps Ratz taking on Mazda.

The quick trip vs the quick willys pickup. Gramps is first away and to the 660.

At the stripe it's Quick Trip making a quick trip.

Gramps moves into round 2.

Bottom half of the ladder and we have Dave632 in his white camaro and JJwallace in the blue Torino. Into the beams they go.

They are close at the hit but the camaro pulled ahead at the 660.

To the top end and it's going to be the camaro pulling out the win.

Dave will move both his cars into round 2.

Next up Cozwurth in the camaro and Comet in the 64 Comet. Into the beams they go.

Slight advantage to the camaro at the hit but they are glued at the 660.

To the top end who's it going to be? The camaros have the winner record today and this race will continue that.

This was another close race and could have went either way.

Next up JJwallace and his beautiful Fairlane and Finistauri I'm Draga Alena. Burnouts complete and here we go.

The light drops and JJ doesn't move. This track has been unforgiving today.

Fin with a solid A to B

Fin moves into round 2.

Last pair sees Jetta in the bug taking on Pete in the Cobra.
Locked and ready.

The bug is away 1st and to the half.

Looking to the big end it's going to be Jetta in the bug taking the W.

I would have thought the Cobra would have eaten the Bug but not today.

That will bring a end to round 1 and what a round it was. Who will survive round 2? Stay tuned to find out. Here's a quick look at the ladder going into round 2.

Rolling right along with Tjet stock we move into round 2. First pair is the master of upset Eagle Racing in the Flamed 57 and his opponent Weissach in the gasser 57. A little 57 on 57 action. Into the beams they go.

Pretty close at the hit but the gasser 57 pulls ahead at the 660 mark.

Eagle is looking to keep his luck going and wants this win. To the big end it's going to be Weissach in the gasser 57.

The gasser 57 is moving on.

Next to blaze the track is Ecbill in the Hot Nova and next to him is Racin Rob in the Dash Camaro. Let's see who's going to move on.

Reaction goes to Racin Rob but the nova pulls ahead at the 660.

The Hot Nova is looking to the stripe and the next round but wait here comes Rob with a ton of speed and pulls around the nova at the stripe.

Both drivers wanted that bad but the nova just ran out of gear and Racin Rob moves to the quarter finals.

That brings up Gnome in the Pink Merc and Ecbill in Black and Blue. Burnouts done and staged.

Ecbill is away first and first to the 60' but here comes that merc at the 660.

Ecbill is looking to black and blue the pink merc at the finish line but it's going to be Gnome taking the win.

Gnome moves on to the quarters.

Last pair on this side of the ladder is Crazynski in the pumpkin Chevelle and Hairycanary in the wicked willys.
They have a little burn down going on but finally both drivers fully stage.

The head games worked in Hairycanarys favor as he caught Crazynski making a sandwich at the tree.

Crazynski has some ground to make up after that light and is running the willys down. At the big end and it's going to be Hairycanary taking the W.

Hairycanary moves on.

Now onto the right side of the ladder. Dave632 in his red camaro will take on Tjetter in the Isky cams Mustang. No games here and they are ready to rumble.

Tjetter is 1st away and to the 60' but here comes that mouse power and Dave632 takes the 660.

To the top end and it's going to be Dave632 keeping the distance.

Tjetter gave it all he had and came up just a little short.

Next up Steve-E-D in his yellow Challenger and Gramps in the quick trip. Waiting on green.

Advantage Gramps and he keeps that at the 660.

Both of these hemis are screaming as they look for the stripe and it's going to be Gramps in the quick trip.

Steve-E-D had a very respectful showing but Gramps will move into the quarter finals.

Next pair will see Dave632 in his white camaro taking on Cozwurth in his red camaro.

Cozwurth takes the hit and the 60 and Dave takes the 660.

Running to the line I can't tell who it will be but I bet it will be a camaro. At the stripe it's Dave632 moving on.

You never like to see a camaro lose but to another camaro it's not so bad. Dave moves on.

Last pair and it's going to see Finistauri and Draga Alena taking on Jetta in the bug.

The bug is away first and at the 660. finistauri has another half track to make up ground.

At the top end it's going to be Jetta in the bug taking the win.

Jetta is in the quarters.

Lets take a look at the ladder going into the quarter finals.

And now we come to the quarter finals. First pair will see Weissach in the gasser 57 taking on Racin Rob in the dash camaro that would have been right at home here at the Halloween race.
The drivers stage and wait for the green.

Starting line advantage Racin Rob and he holds it to the half.

Weissach came along way to be here and won't give up that easy. Into the trap and it's going to be Racin Rob taking the stripe.

Weissach gave it his all but so did Rob as that is his fastest pass of the day.

Now we get to see the low mean pink merc of Gnome take on the wicked willys of hairycanary. Half track burnouts complete ready to get down.

They are close at the hit and the 660 with Gnome taking a slight advantage.

To the big end who's it going to be? It's Gnome taking the win.

hairycanary gave it everything he had but again we see drivers turning it up and Gnome ran his best pass of the event on that pass.

Next up Dave632 in the red camaro along side Gramps in the Quick Trip. No messing around these drivers are ready to get down.

Starting line advantage Gramps but as we've seen Dave pours on the mouse power and takes the 660'.

Running to the line both drivers are looking to punch their ticket to the semi finals. It's going to be dave632 taking the W.

Another driver turns up the wick and Dave632 runs his fastest pass.

Last pair of the quarters is again Dave632 this time in the white camaro and Jetta in the lime green Bug.
They are ready to roll.

Jetta has a slight advantage at the hit but Dave632 will take the 660 by half a car.

Running to the big end no one is giving a inch. At the stripe it's going to be Dave632.

I sound like a broken record I know but again Dave632 turns it up and runs the best in that car also.

Let's take a look at the ladder for the semis. This is going to be tricky for Dave but he's been here before.

I've said it before and I'll say it again......these cars know whats up! They consistently turn it up when it counts. It's crazy how that works.

I agree with Jeff, the cars know when to turn it on. The red Camaro ran quicker at the race than it did here, while the white Camaro fell off by about .05. and 2 MPH. They are machines with a mind of their own.

And here we are race fans the semi finals. First races up will be Racin Rob in the Dash Camaro and Gnome in the pretty in pink merc. These drivers have worked all day to get this far let's see what they have for each other.

Slight advantage at the hit goes to Racin Rob but the merc pulls around and keeps the camaro at his bumper at the half.

Charging hard to the finish who's going to take it? It's going to be Gnome in the chopped merc.

Rob wanted it bad but Gnome kept him at his bumper and will move to the finals.

On the other side we're going to watch a man race himself. You don't believe me? Take a look. We have Dave632 in his red camaro and next to him himself Dave632 in his white camaro. This is very interesting.

He is locked and loaded and ready to give himself every thing he's got. The green lights and the white camaro doesn't move.

The red camaro blisters the track and takes the win.

I guess thats how you do that. I don't think there was anyone in the white camaro all along.

And here it is. What everyone's been waiting on all day. The finals of stock Tjet here at the 2024 Ice Drags at ITz raceway. Before we run the race I want to take the time to thank all the races. What a class this has been. We've seen it all and it comes down to this. We have Dave632 in the red camaro taking on Gnome in the pretty in pink merc. There was a hand shake and the drivers get in and buckle up. Staged and ready.

They are right there from the jump but Dave632 keeps a slight lead at the 660.

Not one to back down Gnome is on it and stays right there with Dave632. Into the traps and there has to be a winner and today it's Dave632 in his red camaro.

What a close race! You love to see them like that. Gnome left it all on the track but came up just a hair short.

Let's give it up for Dave632. The winner of the 2024 Ice Drags at ITz raceway.

What a ride it's been. We had 37 cars run this class today. We seen just about anything and everything. Everyone should give themselves a pat on the back for just making the race. I did want to mention the track record set for Stock Tjet here at ITz raceway goes to Swiftkart with a .7771 set in round 2 of qualifying.
