I see what you did there Bill, smooth. Im gonna remember that one when I get married. I have a request. I wanted to name my 3 list car. I saved the body from a horrible super glue tragedy during a minor exhaust modification. I was trying to man it up bit as I thought it didn't look race E enough and put the car down into the puddle of glue. If you look you can see it. That body sat for over a year before I could look at again. Almost hit the trash bin twice. I named the car My Wife's Mustang, she would have chosen the the white and red over a double black Shelby. So between memories of the ex-wife and gobs of glue, both disappointments , MY 3gear List Car My Wife's Mustang took on a life beyond the shelf. I told ya that part, to tell ya this part. No longer do I gaze with disappointment towards my Mustang, Ive grown fond of the gal again. From now on Im calling her "My Old Ladies Mustang" I can't believe Im in a relationship again LOL!!! It is done. She is now "My Old Lady's" Mustang.

JJ, trying to get things finished and in the mail. I just noticed in the rules for traction magnets, it says no oversize. What constitutes oversize? Thr magnets I have are 6x1.35 mm. That is slightly larger than the autoworld magnets.

That is slightly larger than the autoworld magnets. They just need to be somewhat close to the factory size magnets and located in the same location as factory. I'm not sure the actual size but I can check when I get home today. We have had racers use magnets that were grossly oversized and/or stacked in the past and that is what we are getting away from.

OK racers.....here we are. It's Wednesday night...we are roughly a week away from Raceday...and the AJR TJ's Body Shop sponsored 4g Super Comp Wedge is ready to make a pass for ET to see who the lucky winner of the first "Guess the ET" game will be. Whew....that was a lot........Voltage is set to 24 volts. The car has made a couple of test passes to make sure everything is working but it is running out of gear just past the 1/8th mile. Here we go........ All guesses were way too generous because this car really did not put down a very good time. It wound up nice but topped out early. We still have a winner and that is........... Gnome with a guess of .600 flat!!!
Congratulations Jeff you are the winner of a new Auto World Thunderjet Ultra G rolling chassis.

"Guess the ET" game two is here. Time will be posted next Wednesday night on Raceday eve. This one is going to be fun . Out of the AJR garage is the "Lead Foot Lucy" Topolino sitting on a Viper chassis, 6ohm armature, stock SG+ motor magnets, .532 Jel Claw rear tires, 8/25 gears, braids, BSRT G Jet brass weights in place of the traction magnets and at front guide pin, and a wheelie bar. This car will run at a whopping 14 volts. The winner will receive another AW Thunderjet Ultra G rolling chassis. Good luck!

Haulers are loaded up and the convoy heads out I-84 towards Texas tomorrow. Ratbagz and Red Zeppelin will make their NTRA debuts. I have Zero experience with that Viper chassis. I will drop my guess at 1.000

IMG_4095 by Bill Le, on Flickr Haulers are loaded, the SC cars are on their way! Thought the haulers were going to have to travel in the “missing man” formation but the good folks at Slot Car Central got the replacement body here early enough to make the trip! Always figured that Big Ben was behind the wheel of the Steeler. Guess Russell Wilson is driving the new one. Both Super Bowl champs! A few new faces.
