Hello. I am in the process of creating a hobby room for car modeling, train layout, HO slot road course and a HO drag strip. I very much look forward to a month or two down the road when it is done! Have the outer walls painted and the bench work done for the strip. Now to finish one of the partial walls and get a couple of pieces of dry wall up! Thanks. Jody

Lil' Joes Nastolgic strip. Well, once I am done refurbishing and creating our new family room, we will have two tracks. The "big one" will be a AFX giant raceway for the kids to play on. The other will be a 22 foot long 1/4 mile (87th scale) strip, including 5 foot of shut down, 15 1/2 feet of strip and 1 1/2 of staging area. This will be made using Model Motoring straight track. I have two old Aurora power plants for this to start it out with and old T jet thumb controllers till I can better afford more proper attire for it! LOL. I hope to have it up within a month, then I can take pics! Right now I am reworking a new S'cool bus for it. I have a updated 4 gear with drag arm for it. I have removed the body clips and rear wheelies from it and have hinged the body so it can pop wheelies. I need to figure out what to use for weight so it will actually flip! I will also be adding a light to it to light up the inside of the bus. I am debating on repainting the chrom body since it totally sucked and going with a paddy wagon theme? Thanks. Jody

Thank you kindly for letting me in the door. I was not going to post anything because my track is only a 7-foot, 12V strip. But the first post on this thread says 5-footers welcome. Besides. It's been a while since anyone shook this thread up. Thank you for looking.

Hey Hey big Ken in the house. Glad you made it over.
This place and the slot lodge are my homes. Great people in both places and you'll run into some slot lodge guys here. Good times!
My favorite part of that picture is the controllers hanging down the wall. Loving it.

Hello Bill from Slot Racer, and Sam from the Lodge. Yep. It took me long enough. Plus a bunch of indirect hints before I finally drove over. I have much to learn and look forward to it. Sam. It's funny that you noticed the AFX handles for the road-race track above the drag track. This was just before the drag race section was set up.

The track has return lanes. But I have one inline car that has a 6-Ohm armature. It has a tendency to run past the 5-foot shut down lanes. I had to hire a track marshal. His name is Jerry the minion. Is there a place like a garage area to post your builds? Or see other builds? Newbies need a little inspiration. Thank you very kindly, Crazynski
