Here are a few pictures of a car that Psycho Slot member 7secamaro owns and was racing when it crashed at approximately 150 mph on the strip. Anybody want to take a guess at what kind of car this use to be? Body Make and Model? I have a prize for the first correct guess. I'll post the before picture later on. 7seccamaro, Chimp Racing and family are not eligible for the prize ![](http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/skrcustoms/sub%20album/TomF001.jpg) ![](http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/skrcustoms/sub%20album/TomF011.jpg) ![](http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/skrcustoms/sub%20album/TomF013.jpg) Tom now owns V. Gaines old NHRA Pro Stock Camaro and runs in the quick 16 class at Bandimere. Picture after he bought it minus the familiar Western sponsor. ![](http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/skrcustoms/sub%20album/TomF016.jpg) and how it looks today ![](http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q289/skrcustoms/sub%20album/TomF019.jpg) Tom is new to the forum and is known here as 7seccamaro.

I would guess a late 90's Camaro.

Judging by the rollcage "fastback design" and the apparent length of the nose I believe it to be either a Camaro or Firebird in the 2003-2005 range . Definitely a ProStock though because nothing on the inside even resembles the original car including the firewall which is typical of a ProStock. Probably Camaro because of the login name of 7seccamaro. SO: 2004 Camaro Pro Stock. And because it seems so cut and dry, Im probably VERY wrong... ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) Dan

The more I look at the picture, I dont see an engine mount or anything left of one. I will go out on a limb and say a VW Bug

Camaro would be the obvious choice but it's not even close. ;D Told you I was way off....lol Actually, Im not even sure it was a drag car... It has an air system for the driver suit in it... could it be a Earnhardt Crash car from NASCAR? Dan

From faaarrr out in left field... 64-66 Mustang, nitrous PM
More importantly, did he walk away? OK now?
OK... it could be a early 50's Vette or Studebaker also. Ah... what have we missed?

No correct guesses yet and yes he is doing fine and has returned to 1/1 racing. He was over last night for some HO drag test and tune action and brought over these pictures. I haven't given you guys much to work with so I'll give you a hint. It's modern car (1990's) and is not your typical drag car that you might see everyday on the strip. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
