Here are the results of my new 3D printed 8T pinion test. I ran the pinion on my new M10 can build with a 6 ohm balanced armature. I drilled it out to fit the larger shaft. Here are the pics before and after.
BEFORE TESTING:AFTER 20 PASSES:
Looks really good. What kind of ET was the test chassis running. Wondering what the load was on the gear.

Jeff the times were mid .6's with no braids. I did not break in the motor, just started making passes.

Here is a build of two casting I did. The Chevelle has the Bulldog chassis under it. The Camaro is one of my race cars for the up coming race. It has one of my Eagle 3D printed M10 chassis with the Mabuchi M10 motor. This comes as a dual shaft motor with thin ceramic magnets. The magnets are not real strong. I dropped in a Wizard balanced 6 ohm motor. I 3D printed the wheels. The magnet inserts I milled out. Looking forward to race day. I will be hand delivering my cars to Jeff.

I have been working on the Tyco Bike castings. These require a lot of inside work. The master is a very precise fit and the mold with slight shrinkage makes for a lot of grinding to get the motor to fit. So here is one I have been working on. I have not finished the rider mold yet. So I used the master for the pic. I cut down the wind screen and ground off the lights and filled in the headlight. This is just what I am doing to mine. I may ad a wing etc., not sure what else.

WOW!! That looks pretty fantastic to me so far! Can't wait to see the finished product. I do love the bikes and we don't see them enough. Great work Robert.

Robert looks Awesome !! What you achieved so far is a difficult task. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Which reminds me I need to get my butt in gear getting a motorcycle ready for Summer Slam.

Here is a finished bike for one of our racers. The motorcycle is just very difficult to tape for this type of paint scheme. At least for me it is. So I did not use tape and free handed the bike and rider. Then I made the decals to fit the motorcycle. I used an airbrush for the bike and a 5/0 brush for the rider. As you can see it is setting on the Eagle motorcycle drag chassis. The N30 can motor with a 6 ohm armature provides the power. I also made the gear train.

Rick as I said you have inspired me to start 3D printing again. I know it is not a drag car but thought I would share my first 3D resin print anyway. It is a Nissan GTP race car body. The second one is a Ford Thunderbolt shown in the printing app. It is being printed as I type this. Black resin is all I had. I will get me some white later. I am going to get a wash and cure station as well. I have a Matter and Form scanner. So I will give it a try on doing scanned items. Thanks for the inspiration Rick!
