Robert that body looks awesome. It’s a lot of fun when they come out ? My survival rate is at about 99% success now. What’s nice you can scale them to fit any chassis.

That body does look great! You and Rick are certainly perfecting this craft! Your bodies are the smoothest 3D printed that I have seen for sure! Let me know when that Thunderbolt is available! Gotta love a Tbolt! Thank you for posting.

Rick my survival rate is getting better. I have a lot to learn, such as adding and subtracting the parts I would like to see on the model. Just like anything else all it takes is practice and lots of patience.... . Here is a pic of the the Thunderbolt and a 55 Chevy. They are setting on one of my inline chassis. Also in the pic are a pair of double flange rims for narrow tires. In the back is the Nissan.

Eagle Great Workmanship I believe I get as much and maybe more enjoyment out of painting and building a body for a chassis. I do like that Jeff Wallace, Has a Trophy for best Showmanship, I've been working on a 40 Ford for his next Event. Jeff has the Best Trophies 🏆

Looking awesome Robert. I don’t know what editing program you use ? I use MeshMixer to edit the files then export them into Anycubic slicing program. MeshMixer is free and after getting familiar with it, it works pretty good adding, subtracting and scaling stuff. Adding is way more easy than subtracting. Sometimes your limited on what you can subtract if any. I’ve only scratched the surface. There’s so much I don’t understand yet and may never understand.

I use the same programs for editing and slicing that you use. I have been doing a lot of experimenting to help me learn the programs. For me it difficult to understand how one adjustment effects another. I guess it will just take time and practice.

The surface of the Caddy looks so smooth. Don’t see the usual ripples found on most 3D printings.

I wanted to see how well my printer would handle something more involved, with big overhangs etc.. I think it did a pretty good job. I have run into some road race bodies that have smaller details, and it was no problem. I am sure you will agree that 3D printing saves a ton of work.

33 Willys Pro Mod, this one is setting on an Eagle Narrow inline chassis. I designed the chassis to fit our vintage F1 bodies and Front Engine Dragster and it fit's the 33 Willys just right.
