Hi all, My name's Simon and I'm from Sydney Australia. My main hobbies are modifying and racing my full sized turbocharged Nissan Skyline as well as HO slot cars. My background is electrical/aeronautical engineering. I have been wounding armatures for my own use for over thirty years after my father taught me how it's done back when I was a teenager. I recently invested many hours in R&D perfecting a series of HO scale inline arms - the most recent was a couple of 36 gauge in 2.1 ohm and 2.6 ohm. I will be producing my armatures in various gauges and resistance / ohm ratings and they will be distributed via my friend's new website AussieHoSlotCars.com in the near future when the site comes online. The arms are suitable for basically any HO slot cars that run a inline setup and the two different brush configurations will be available - covering both the brush tube (Tyco / Wizzard / Mega G) as well as the leaf spring (SG+ / BSRT G3 / SRT) style bulkheads. However, do keep in mind that most of these arms will be of a higher performance type so high strength motor / traction magnets, power supply capable of supporting several amps and a decent controller at a minimum will be required to get the most out of them, as well as a good understanding in setting up motors of this calibre. The highest spec'd units will have machined & polished/dyed stacks, trued & polished comms, windings epoxied and tied off as well as fully balanced. Models with advanced timing will also be available if required. If you want to discuss a specific requirement, my email is trust4@live.com.au Thanks.

Can you or will you do one in 30 and 32 gauge? Also can we send you our blanks (I use the long shaft TCR style)? Lastly, how much for one of your comms with the full treatment? Thanks and please keep me informed as to when the web page is online.
