This category was set up so race groups can post information and news from their organization. This is a place for us and for YOU to report HO drag happenings and events.
Since the stated goal of Nitroslots (and NTRA as well) is promotion of HO DRAG RACING at large. NTRA itself was founded primarily as a Proxy racing endeavor. However, there is nothing like live and local racing! We encourage you guys to find a local or near-local group and participate with them as well. Maybe its time you started your own local group if none exists.
HO DRAG RACING is something we all share in common and if you can't find what you are looking for on Nitro, then just ask and we might be able to point you in the right direction. It’s a smack-talk free zone of course, the goal being one of sharing and expanding our (HO Drag fans) footprint on the internet, not to bag on some one else’s group.
The more YOU guys post here, the better this news area will function as a "what's going on in the world of HO Drag RACING".

Send a PM to SKR. To proxy race all you need to do is build a car according to the class rules you want to race in. Sign up for the race. Mail the cars to the host track. Whala your racing. |

Welcome Joe and thanks for the interest. Nosubfor3 has already spelled out the basics for you. You can go to the upcoming race poster to see what it will take to get entered in any of the 6 classes that will be run. $7 will get you 4 cars entered. $1 for each car over 4. That is basically your return postage for your cars. If you want insurance , just add extra for what you want. The rules are at the top of the page for all NTRA classes. If you have any further questions feel free to ask and someone will be glad to help. Check the "Look back-NTRA" logo at the top right of the page to see some of the past races. Krums World Raceway is hosting the second race in the 2017 SCDRA HO Drag Racing series, "The Summer Nationals" July 15, we had a great turn out for "The Spring Nationals" and hope to have even more racers for the Summer race. Check the Krums World Raceway Facebook page for information on the Fall and Winter Nationals culminating in the crowning of the 2017 SCDRA HO Slot Car Drag Racing Champ.  |

After 13 years of fun HO racing it's time to announce that WDWAHO Dragway in SW Orlando has been sold and will be soon moving to Houston, TX.
To those that raced here both in person and in the PsychoSlot's proxy race "GatorNational's-Lite Super Stock", thank you.
I have enjoyed the track very much but will continue to sell off most of my cars on ebay under the seller name of "olbear322".
Since I'm not racing anymore, my best cars will be for sale as I slowly post them over the next few months.
Look for the MM/PS built by nitroslots.com founder Sam and a really neat Mercury lowrider built by kdog.
Thanks for the memories...

congrats on finally finding a buyer.
your track truly was inspirational.
I don't think I raced on it, but it looks fast.
perhaps the new owner will join Nitro and host some proxy events!

Hmm..Houston? That's about 3 or 4 hours west of me! Interesting!  I think I sent one for the proxy race quite a few years ago, but not sure. Gonna have to watch for your stuff Phil. Sorry to hear you're not racing anymore, but life does go on. Have fun buddy! |
