A Look Inside a Gasser Chassis

I thought I'd repost this as it is still relevant to todays NTRA Gassers. Note that this is a re-post of a post I made years ago after a race at PSD. This class was N-F/C Tjets which shared the same chassis as the Gasser class.

I thought I'd post these pictures and info of some of the cars that were successful at last years Fall Nat's. Although these are BB/FC they still are the same chassis set ups as the Gassers.

Notes:
Passenger traction magnet is shimmed to match drivers side height. Brush tension increased, chassis shunted. Radio shack rare earth traction magnets. A/W motor magnets.

Sam what was the track length, type, and voltage/amps these cars were running at for that race? Thanks.

16' @ 26 volts on battery power so plenty of amps. When they hooked up, they flew. 18 volts will be much better suited for this class.
