I am going to build a car for the pso class and what chassis would be the best to use? Sold all my cars because of health reasons to pay bills and just want to build a pso car thanks. Mac

Mac start with a AW X-traction. If you can swing it get an Aurora Magna traction too. You will also need a mean green arm for this class. I built one of each and they are very close in speed.

We discussed opening this class up to other chassis for next year however I also like how this class has developed and how competitive it's been. With that being said, I don't see this class changing specs for next year. A separate list class is in the works for pancake chassis cars next year to include T-jet, X-Traction and 4-Gear chassis all in one class. It'll be more of a development year to make the class fair for the different chassis types. This would be similar to how NHRA does Pro-Mod depending on how dominant preferred power adders are i.e. Nitrous powered cars allowed less overall minimum weight than Super Charged or Turbo cars. I believe they also have restrictions on boost for turbo cars depending on CID? 4G chassis will most likely need help to be competitive with the 3 gear cars. Besides weight minimums we could use different grades of motor magnets, armature ohm minimums or allow timed armatures to help balance out the class. I really like the idea of having an open pancake type class that keeps costs to a minimum and allows the participant to race his/her favorite chassis. As the class develops we should all keep an open mind to make this class competitive, fair and fun for all.

Mac Mac it's good to have you back in the mix. Missed you at my event. The offer of fixing you up with some braided shoes still stands if you are interested. I can mail them to you.

Looking forward to Mac racing in the PSO class. I feel we will fill the top 10 spots. An open pancake sounds interesting, handicapping it will be a challenge. I play in handicapped pool leagues and heads up ones. Very little drama in the heads up but there is always complaining about handicaps in the other.
