let me see if I can teach an old dog new tricks
My fancy turbo fans came from a dremel tool bit and some mold putty. After mixing parts A & B, I laid it out flat and pushed the dremel tool bit into it. You have about 20 minutes until it hardens. Once it hardens, use resin to make a casting. The mold putty was bought at hobby lobby, it works good for small stuff like this.
Jeff, that's an old picture, last year? Tricky Rick won a championship with a NOS and Blower car and tried to get another one using a turbo. If I recall, he ended up switching back to NOS.

Looks like a good idea, could just put a couple of Turbo inputs like those in the grille or have an exposed motor with all the plumbing + a couple of 88mm. I have yet to try anything with resin. When I was racing the Turbos were coming on strong. I remember having a half car lead at 1/2 track when the other guys Turbos spooled up and he drove right around me. I needed a button for another stage of nitrous to come on, I had 3, but I would probably have hit the wall as that chassis could not handle any more power. I considered switching to Turbos but the 15G cost for a first class system stopped me.

Match Racing is listed for the Jan. and Mar. events. What do you have planned for this class? We have about a month to prep.

Bill, seen a car or someone you would like to race? Match racers are a call out type race. Just post what chassis or type of car you have. Photos are always good. Post it up and see who takes your challenge or throw a challenge out to someone. Any chassis can be used. Rules can be sorted out between the two racers. It's great fun, give it a try.

Comp is 5.5 minimum stock mean green etc. arm with balancing allowed. This class uses the same rules as the list racers. Your car can do double duty if you wish to race in the list races.
