2018 NTRA Winter Nationals
Another quick reminder that the clock is ticking and race day will be here before you know it. We already have International cars on their way to North Texas and the anticipation is building! Still have PLENTY of room left on the Sign Up sheet! Cars need to arrive by Thursday February 22.
Pro Street Outlaw and Four Gear Outlaw
HO drag list racing at it's best! The first PSO and 4GO list races of 2018 are scheduled for race weekend. We had a highly competitive group of racers going at it in 2017 on both lists and I'm sure that will be carrying over into this year. If you are already on either list and you have not gotten your call out in, you need to get that done. Call outs are run in the order that they are made. Sometimes that can be the difference in racing up....or racing down. I will honor call outs made on the race thread and/or on the call out thread at the top of the forum page. Be clear on which list the call out is for and for what spot/racer. It can get confusing....so your help is appreciated. If you are not on either list, but want to be, then build a car (only one per racer) and enter it in the "Shark Pool" of the appropriate list. The Shark Pool cars, if there are more than one, will race against each other for a chance to call out for the #10 spot. The list races will continue at most events throughout the year. Soooooooo give it a shot!

Wow! You've really thrown out a challenge. Just think how fast it would be if it was a Chevy. Wonder if I could hide an inline motor in a pancake chassis? Either that or equip my car with a crown gear seeking missile.

It might outrun the missile. The Mustang had been broken up in a wreck. It is a real patch job that's why Frankenstein is a good name for it. It is now my quickest pancake car of any type. I have one AFX that can run a little more MPH but not that ET.

I have to thank EAGLE for finding a crown gear that would hold up under the little monster. I have only made a few passes with it and am hoping it holds up for the match race. In some early tests the TR chassis in the white Vette was beating it until I got it working. The 60' surprised me to as it really gets off the line. All brass gear train seems to be holding up so far. Only had one pancake chassis, which was an AFX that had hit some .39s in the past that was quicker than this T jet and that one hit 40 MPH. It was not as quick in the early part of the run. That one cannot run those numbers any more. Jeff if it falls apart in the race don't worry it is lucky to still be running. Both of the body mounts were broken off to, like I said a real patch job. See my Frankenstein thread for more pictures of the patched body.

Jeff. I would like to enter two in the bracket race and would like to call out Kiwi Dave for the 5 spot in the Four G OutLaws. I'm still working on a PSO car and hopefully be entering that soon. Looking forward to the new race season. Good Luck to everybody that makes to race.
Thanks Rick

Jeff if Frankenstein survives the ECBill challenge would you like to run your FED against it?

Street and 4G Outlaw cars are ready. Both are running good. The Rebel made it's best pass ever on my track. This run was at 20 volts however. Street & 4G Outlaw cars

Sounds like they will be tough as always! I just saw your post about the FED running against the Mustang. We can do that, but I don't think it stands much of a chance. It will be interesting to see.

Run the FED at 26V and the Stang at 20V. That should make it close.
