Not sure if this is in the right section or not, if it needs moved, feel free to do so. Where can I get parts? Our local slot track wants nothing to do with HO stuff, our Hobbytown only carries what the main company supplies them, Ebay seems like it's getting WAYYYYY too expensive, and I can't find ANYWHERE close to get ANYTHING! Anybody know any good online hobby shops? REALLY need cars and parts..ESPECIALLY since I'm putting up my own track !! I even got my buddy up in Illinois intrested now..he's building a few cars too. BUT none of that does ME any good when I'm 1200 miles away from him..LOL Anyway...help!! Ron (Bondo)

Hi All I love this site and am really getting into HO drags, so much so I've shelved all my 1:32 Scalextrics for the forseeable future. I would like to replace my 4Gear wheels with some awesome correct looking ones. inserts are fine dont need high performance stuff, just better looking. We race pretty much box stock with body mods and some sillies. looking to move the wheels up under and in. Can someone post a link to "how to" tuck the wheels up and in on 4 gear chassis. Thanks in advance, i'll post some picts of my mods soon. Is there a gallery section?

Tucking wheels starts.with narrowing stock wheels. Lots of plastic can be removed front and back. ....... Peter

The Snake and Mongoose cars have stock AW 4G wheels that I narrowed. These Cougars have Vincent rims. I can't remember what rear tires I used. You can find Vincent rims at Jag Hobbies, click on their logo at the bottom of the forum page to enter their site.
