Got my Altered and Dragster ready for Jeff's race.
Canabalized the old Dragster and Jungle Jim's car for the 2 chassis.

Dragster is kind of a slug but the Altered surprised me when running at 24 volts. Had the Dragster for about 45 years but it never went
to a race before, probably because those things weigh about 10 pounds more than any other car . Jungle Jim was my old 4G Outlaw car chassis. I did not use any Poly magnets as I found no improvement with them but that may not be the same for everyone.

I have a 4 gear 16 ohm stock red tip arm with braids only, stock afx 3 gear rims with aj slip ons. If anyone is inter rested in the challenge . If i may .thank you

Hank, I'll take the challenge. Are you allowing for a traction magnet if not let's eliminate the braid? But either way I accept the challenge.

Hi Hank, My stock AFX 4 Gear red motors are registering anywhere from 15.3 to around a 14.2. I can't find any that are as high as 16.

its all good just out for fun. my motto just a bunch of old  kids playing with little toys . still except  the challenge.

I have never seen a red tip hit 16 ohms but I have had a newer AW read that high. Most read in the 14-15 ohm range and I have checked 100s of them.
I have had some red tip arms with gold wire read 6 ohms however. Seems there were some wound that way at the factory which fooled me, I thought I had
a real freak runner and it turned out to be a mean green in disguise as a hot red.
