I agree Dave, perhaps even the big 4's as Gnome's 4 gear Super Stock hit the low 5's at JJ's last race.

Mike, 8 first round winners I guess. How will the Kiwi challenge cars be determined. Since 7 Kiwi's have challenged us and we have a lot more entries than that. I recently sold a fast 4G stocker figuring I had no use for it. Original AFX chassis 13-14 MPH without me touching it. Fastest one I ever saw. Most of those are 8-10 MPH dead stock. Sold it for 15.00 and it was quickly bought. I am also predicting the 3G super comp times to dip well into the 5s. I will be working on that one. Thanks to Rick I have some gears to try out for 4G Unlimited, 40 MPH??? Lots of smoke, maybe. Flying parts, most likely.... Dave the way the Kiwi Challenge will be determined and matched up was explained on the first race post. See below... jjwallace said: I will do normal Qualifying with the Nitroslots cars of 1 run in each lane and the top cars will be randomly matched up to go against whatever New Zealand sends. There should be a minimum of 7 but could be more. Thank you to everyone for entering! Thanks also to all the New Zealand racers past and present that send their cars! You guys and gals rock!

A 4G with a 6 ohm hit low 5s. I must have missed that? Please send me the link. Gnome Qualified #1 in Super Comp with a .5419et, Round 1 .5470, Round 2 .5456, Semi .5433, Finals against you .5479 nitroslots.com/thread/4847/texas-nationals-creek-dragway-thread?page=8He then ran in 4g Unlimited. Round 1 .5280, Round 2 .5326 and then the gears gave up. Super Comp was run at 20v and Unlimited at 26v.

Thanks Jeff and congrats to Gnome, (Jeff) for running that time, I don't even remember my car running a .58. Pleasures of getting old I guess. I can see the Unlimiteds hitting those times however.

Kiwi Challenge Update
FYI to everyone.........I have been contacted by Kiwidave and we will have a list of the New Zealand racers soon. There may be 1 or 2 extra which would give us a total of 8 or 9 NZ cars to match up against. I will tell you an ET to shoot for when tuning would be 1.00 in 1000' scale (15' 7") timed.

Boy what a lot of interest in the Kiwi Challenge. Us boys from down under have been working on our cars for months, just joking. This years race will be as epic as the previous ones for sure, filled with action in every race as its best of 3 looser goes home. I will be sending the scribble cuda, i hope it does well giving it has to travel with no prep time, anyway shouild be a blast.

Just thinking out loud. With the increased participation from our friends in England, we could possibly hold a 3-way international challenge some day!

Not trying to act as a sandbagger. Jeff it's just that I have a lot to chose from with any other style chassis. Despite my selling off about 50 cars I still have 50 or so 3G & T jet, 90+ various types of Inline's, at least 10 4G modified and 2 4G stock used as track display, my Ambulance and a Yellow Deuce Coupe. Does not mean I will not work on one however. I will take a couple of the modified's and work them over. I just pickup up about 8 15 ohm armatures. Sorry I did not save that fast one a few months ago.

Lou Holtz......... I mean Dave stop it. When your car isn't in the top 3 I might agree with you. However, for now I agree with Jeff. The next thing you'll be saying is you're just happy that we allow you to run your cars.
