 Not trying to act as a sandbagger.  Jeff it's just that I have a lot to chose from with any other style chassis. Despite my selling off about 50 cars I still have 50 or so 3G & T jet, 90+ various types of Inline's, at least 10 4G modified and 2 4G stock used as track display, my Ambulance and a Yellow Deuce Coupe. Does not mean I will not work on one however. I will take a couple of the modified's and work them over. I just pickup up about 8 15 ohm armatures. Sorry I did not save that fast one a few months ago. LOL  ........well Sir you may have doubts about your ability to tune a 4 gear, but I don't. I'm sure your car will be at least top 3. That almost sounds insulting to say that because you will probably be the fastest. All three pancake chassis will be represented at the event so you will have the opportunity to tune all of them. I would be more than happy to send you a couple of Stock 4g chassis if needed. I have 4 new in the package hanging from my board right now. |

All right I will be quiet. Thanks for the offer Jeff, I have a new in the package one sitting in my extra chassis box. Just making early excuses like I do when playing pool just in case. The table leans to the left, to much humidity, bad lighting, I was sharked by the lady 3 tables away, etc. etc. etc.   , that's from my book of excuses. I do get to play in my pool league tonight as my son and I have to alternate since this league is handicapped and they have a ranking system. |

Well no more whining, I found a 14 MPH @ 18 volts, 15 ohm stock 4 gear sitting on the track with my Jeg's display. It had race tags on it so it must have gone to a race sometime in the past. Will take it apart for a cleaning and hopefully not kill it's performance. Two others on display only hit about 10 MPH so this one is a contender. Seems having a bad memory gives you some nice surprises at times... |

Nope, we allow most resin/plastic bodies. No lexan. As long as the body reassembles a drag/muscle car.
Anyone that is unsure if their body is legal please check with Jeff.

The Kiwi Challenge entry has to have a funny car body? I was waiting to clear that up with Kiwidave and he just did with his post. Any Street performance or drag car resin or plastic body will suffice. I will change the rules page to reflect that. |

Took the Jegs car apart and cleaned it. Of course it slowed a lot, down to 10 MPH, but after a little tinkering it was better than before. Should be a contender as it beat the Summit Camaro that I sent to Gales race by quite a bit. A little slow in the 60' but I might try a second traction magnet to see what happens.  4GS for Jeff's race |

I took the braids off the Summit car for this test and it lost some MPH. That Jegs car was sitting in the pits with the Jegs crew when I looked and saw it was a stock 4G that had ran in some past race as it had race stickers still on it. I don't remember it running that good, the pit crew must have worked on it while it sat there??? |

We are not racing each other in this race Bill. Just trying to give the KIWIs something to worry about since they beat us the last 3 times in this class. Note how the Summit Camaro held the lead all the way to the 1/2 way mark, then the Jegs Car flew by with almost 4 more MPH. |

Bill the rest of us aren't in trouble......hopefully it's the Kiwi's that will be in trouble. But they have several cars that have run sub 1.00 runs. Dave that is a stout ET!
