Ken a scratch build chassie with a can motor would fall into unlimited inline. Correct, scratch built would be for Unlimited. Different chassis being used makes this class interesting. In the past it has been won by multiple different chassis, including Jag DR and Super G+ style chassis. Welcome back to Smoky mountain Finistauri.

Dave I know Super Tires has been a sponsor of your race in the past. I have been trying to contact them and no reply. I used their contact form no answer and direct email no answer. Would you know if they are alright or on vacation etc.?

Super Tires has been a long time sponsor of our races and they make a great tire. Don't know what's happened. I will let everyone know if I hear anything.

Hi Dave,
Kindly put me down for two index class?
I won't have time to order, receive, build, and ship out any new classes. Looks like I need to start building cars after each race and hope/wait for the next round.
Thanks a million! Ken

I have a couple of Super III I want to run at Smokey Mountain. The SS rules call for ceramic magnets. Dave do you know what the Super III motor and traction magnets gauss at?

Vince. Super III motor magnets measured in the 850-950 range or within the ceramic range. Traction magnets measured in the 2200-2300 range or Neo range. There are no restrictions on the traction magnet strength.
