Got an email from OS3 a little while ago with some nice announcements, first is new blank armatures for winding...

Just ordered some of the 5.5 ohm arms.  Hoping they’ll run with the mean greens.  The TFX cars are well made with great attention to detail so expecting the arms to be quality parts.  

From what was said in their letter, it sounds like they did their homework on these arms.  They’re using different wire on each type of arm.  Other manufacturers have tried just using less turns of the same wire to get lower ohm readings which doesn’t necessarily equate to strong performance.

I'm with you Bill. 10 armatures are on order. Half are 14.5-Ohm.
