**4 gear Pancake Stock @ 18v (Top Fuel or Funny Car body 25g min.)

**Tjet Gasser Pancake Comp @ 18v (Gasser body 23g min.)

**4 gear Pancake Unlimited @ 26v (any drag body/Resin or Plastic/No lexan)

** Regarding 4G Pancake Stock it has been brought to my attention the lack of detail for cutting on chassis, addition of up to two traction magnets, and wheelie bars. The rule "no cutting on chassis" refers to lightening of the chassis by cutting or drilling. Minor chassis modifications for the addition of wheelie bars or addition of traction magnets on an older AFX chassis is allowed! I realize it is a little late to post this now. To those this may have affected I offer my apologies. To anyone else....FYI. I should have pointed that out but honestly I didn't think about it. There is still 3 weeks of tuning left (posted 2/27).

2022 NTRA 8th Annual Winter Nationals
at
Bear Creek Dragway Euless, Texas

Good morning racers and race fans!

We are going to ease into things today. I am setting up the computer and all of the peripheral stuff now, moving the cars to the track, and prepping the track. We still have some racers that hopefully should show up when mail runs around 11am.....so we have some extra time. I have spent the last two afternoon and evenings unpacking and logging in all of the cars. I will post a total car count when everyone gets here. There were several no shows both in Class cars and List cars. There will be lots of List adjustments and I will post updated Lists before the Outlaws run. A mystery car has shown up to race on behalf of Mazda since US Customs seems to want to keep his cars. It is no fault of his own that they did not make it. With that being said, his List cars will NOT drop the customary two spots due to no show. They will remain in the spots they are in and the rest of us will call out around him. It will not hold anyone up and he will not be penalized. Also Alpink and Comet left early as well and should have made it here by now. USPS has them in Ft Worth at last check. I will hold out as long as I absolutely can to get all of their cars in the race. I am expecting them to show up today.....fingers crossed! So........check in today periodically for updates. I will post some arrival pictures at some point today and Qualifying will get started at the very least. My goal is to get everything set up and to get most if not all of the Qualifying done. If the cars are good shape and I don't have a lot of set up/tech issues then that should be attainable. It's been almost 4 months since we all came together to race!!

That only leaves Gibbo61 but I haven't heard anything for him so I hope everything is ok. I am going to assume he is scratched and we are moving forward with the race. The official car count including List cars is 89!  Very good turnout. Thank you all for being a part of my event! I am close to getting into the cars and making some Qualifying passes. First I need to get Alpink and Comet all logged in and take some Team car pictures.

There are some beautiful rides and some sick builds in the house! I think we are in for a show this weekend. Anyone that is familiar with my events knows it will be a steady flow of racing and posting from now till the end. I have plenty of time and the plan is to have all the racing done by Sunday evening. I am going to post Team car pics now and get started with Qualifying following that. Tighten up those seatbelts.

OK first.......what are you calling Outlaw? Your name is crossed out of 4 Gear Stock and 4 Gear Unlimited. 4 Gear Outlaw is List racing. You wrote on your paper 4GO which would be 4 Gear Outlaw List. I had you in the Shark Pool. Are you wanting the Camaro to run in the 4 Gear Unlimited? I will put the Camaro at #16 in the 4Gear Unlimited Class. If that's not right let me know.

Great turnout guys. It is sad that my cars have been high jacked by the U.S. customs.  Thanks for the idea of my list cars not dropping down the list. I will have to allow more than four weeks to get my cars over for the next race.
Good luck to all the racers, I will be following the racing as usual. I am looking forward to seeing some great racing.
