Tjet Gasser Finals Swiftkart '55 Chevy Belaire "Gray Ghost" vs his Team car the red /white Camaro. Both cars have been running stout throughout the competition but the '55 has been the quickest since Round 2. They both want it bad. At this point........there is no "team"! They do their burnouts and get staged. Lights drop and they leave tied together. It stays that way till 660' and the '55 starts pulling. When the win light came on it was by a car. Who said there wasn't going to be any drama?? What a great Final! The Camaro ran it's best ET of the event and lost by .009. I'm telling you....these cars know! .5832et to .5902et

What a great day of Gasser racing! Tomorrow has more in store and I will be getting started early for sure. 4 Gear Stock and Unlimited both need to run leaving only List racing for Sunday. It will be exciting I can almost guarantee it. Calling it a night.......

Good morning racers and race fans. Today is another day of slot car drag racing. The goal is to run 4 Gear Stock and 4 Gear Unlimited. We are minutes away from making the first 4GS passes. Yesterday saw some really good passes being made and close racing. I think Dave632 posted it's the fastest Gasser Class we've ever seen and I would have to second that statement. There were 3 cars that Qualified right at or better than the track record which was .6030et set by Steve last year. That was a stellar ET but now it sits at .5771ET and was backed up by a .5823et. Top 10 were mid to low .6's. Great job everybody! That brings us to today. I expect more of the same. TQ Swiftkart is flirting with the track record again in 4GS. Another big field of 27 cars. Unfortunately 2 cars did not make it in due to mechanical issues. Your Round 1 ladder is below. Good luck everybody!

4 Gear Stock Field of Cars in Qualifying Order left to right
4 Gear Stock Round 1 Eliminations Race 1 Dave632 vs Kstocks Both cars run slightly slower than Qualifying. The Mongoose Duster gets out first and keeps pulling the Beretta all the way through the traps. Kstocks takes the win 1.1882et to Dave632 1.2146et Race 2 Mazda vs Triple52 The Wynns TF is off on performance this weekend but makes a smooth pass and improves. The Brand Source Mustang also improves and turns on the win light. Mazda .9826et to 1.4001et Race 3 Finistauri vs Comet This one is one sided and went like it looked like it would on paper. But you never know what can happen. The Navy '57 improves and takes the win to move onto Round 2. Finistauri .9816et to Comet 1.5360et Race 4 Pete vs Crossfire Both cars ran slower than Qualifying. The GB Caddy gets the holeshot and better 60' but the Mongoose drives around him and goes to the next round. Pete 1.1170et to Crossfire 1.3649et Race 5 Pennywize619 vs Triple52 These two are also slower than Qualifying times but do make smooth passes. The R. Height Mustang pulls the Mooneyes Dodge from start to finish for the win. Pennywize 1.1285et to Triple52 1.3842et
