No roll bar on the gray 55.  Sam may have to assign him to a slower class.  Safety 1st!

Bill, That car is driven by wacky Willie. He has no use for roll bars or a helmet
for that matter as his head in made out of iron!!!

Mike, I have that run on video somewhere. If I can find it I will post it.
Basically the car got out of the groove at 100+ and it veered to the right.
I lifted as you are supposed to do and the car straightened out. Then stupidly,
(this was in a qualifier which you only get 2 of), I decided to hit the throttle
again but I was not fully back in the groove, one tire was still out of the groove.
Well as you can imagine hitting well over 1000hp to only one wheel in the good
traction section what will happen. It veered sharply to the right and I did some
fancy corrections to straighten it out. It seemed like I had a decent amount of
time in the car to do that but if you watch the video it all happens in a blink. I was
complimented by the track crew for saving it but actually I was an idiot for
doing that as saving the qualifier was not going to happen after getting out
of it.

A side note: Kens cars are still floating around in the Postal service
Twilight zone. Goes to some location in New Jersey for customs, then forwarded.
Tracking says it is still heading to its destination as of 5-11-22. Seem to
have a new much slower system in place how.

SUMMER SLAM is coming in fast. Make sure to get signed up. A new track is in place so a new record board is being started. There will be plenty of prizes to go around. We are being sponsored this year by Myself , AlPink , Finistauri, Wizzard (Bob and Cheryl) and Slottech (Morris). There could possibly be more so get signed up and send those cars in. It's gonna be a heck of a time.

I don't want to hijack the race thread but I thought this would be as good a place as any to announce this especially since Sam is running 4g Stock and I need to reply to the Kiwi's.

    I have been contacted by Kiwidave and the Kiwi racers have issued a 4g Stock Kiwi Challenge to the Nitroslots racers. They are feeling bold seeing as how they are holding the trophy and are issuing the challenge. We should be challenging them. Kiwi Challenge #6 would go down in September at the Texas Nationals. I figure we need 10 fast cars. Nitroslots has never held the trophy....but we have been close until the last meeting. We got spanked bad.....


Are we accepting the challenge?
