I'll be there. 4g list car and 3g Shark pool car. 2 index and 2 super stock. Time will tell on unlimited entries.
I have an area on traction magnets I'd like to address in super stock.
Let's say I'm running a tyco 440x2 chassis. My traction magnets are fixed into the chassis and can't be lowered. When I place this chassis on my track I can slide a 50 cent coin under it. I need to some how lower my traction magnets? My thinking is I'm allowed to add skinny disc magnets to the bottom of my fixed traction magnets. This would be lowered, stacked magnets in 2 locations, but it is now actually 4 traction magnets. If it still needs lower and I add 2 more, I now have stacked magnets in 2 locations but I technically have 6 traction magnets. I believe this is ok with the way I am reading the rules?
On that same chassis tyco 440x2 since it has fixed magnets that hold my bulk head in place its obvious I can not change locations I can only stack. Now if I didn't have fixed magnets in my chassis I now have the option to add 2 traction magnets in any location,I can put them on the trunk or my forehead don't matter just 2 locations only.
Now if I add 2 traction magnets to a chassis that didn't have fixed magnets and they are not low enough to do anything I can then stack traction magnets on those, wich again would be stacked, any location, 2 locations but again I'm at 4 traction magnets? I'm pretty sure this is ok?
I think when we stack a magnet on our traction magnet to adjust down force we are considering that 1 magnet. Instead maybe would should say 2 locations instead of 2 magnets. I think that's where others are having some problems on the language.
They are thinking 2 traction magnets... If I stack them I can only stack left or stack right, because once I stack there's my 2 magnets?
If I'm wrong please straighten me out.

Welcome back to Smoky Mountain Skillet. You are reading my rules correctly. You can stack more than one magnet or lower the magnets as long as they are both in the one location, one on each side. In other words you cannot put a bunch of magnets all along the chassis. 2 or 3 magnets stacked in one spot on both sides is okay at MY race. Remember different race masters might have different rules. This will give a little more tuning on the Super Stocks to separate them more from the Stockers. I have added this to the rules post to help clarify.

Thanks Dave. I agree 100 percent with this. It saves a builder from bashing his head against the wall trying to figure out how to adjust magnets in certain types of chassis.
I think this is one of those areas that no matter how we word it, we will have to touch base on it from time to time. Soon someone will run a bar magnet on each side of their chassis and we're going to have to say jeez come on man that's not going to fly ha ha.
