I'm glad everyone is having fun. That's what it's all about to me. To hold us over a little until we go to the 3.5 Blow or go... Looking like we have us two of the crew ready to lay some fire on the track for us. Walking Tall. Comes in BLUESGUY vs ECBILL. Willys on camaro action... BLUESGUY taking the red lane  didn't see as much of a jump from Bill,,, but that's only because BLUESGUY has got it figured out... ECBILL gets out on BLUESGUY. At the 660 BLUESGUY is trying to run him down  What a finish! I had to check the win light twice on that one. ECBILL takes round 1  That's on video |

Switching lanes for round 2  Show time and Bill gets that start jump action...all we hear is BluesGuy full throttle.  I can't believe what I think I'm seeing. BLUESGUY closing that gap fast...  just waited to long...  ECBILL takes it in 2 rounds... adrenaline pumper right there. |

Those 2 are close! Actually found myself pulling for the Willys to take it to a 3rd run.

great call out racing!
I like the way you mixed the video with still shots to help describe the moment.
you are as excited now about each run as you were when you very first discovered slot cars and the joy they bring.
I found that I had to use the "youtube" link on the screen to be able to give you the like you requested. I was already a "subscriber".
as Rick says, "Hours and Hours of tedious monotony punctuated by 0.5 SECONDS OF SHEER TERROR", but I think our "terror" is JOY!
take your time with my cars, if you want to try to coax more out of them, I don't mind.
thank you so much for all the time and effort you have invested in bringing us these carefree days of intense competition and fun.
the Xchange went very well and I am looking forward to next year already.

We are back ,work day is over and it's time for some 3.5 racing. I'm going to go over the track real quick and check camera 1 out. Seems it came unplugged at some point and the battery died. No big deal its all good, just need to get it back on wifi to connect the videos...

Blow or Go 3.5 action...
These builds had have homemade arms in them. The arms were not to dip under a 3.5 ohm. Just as reference for those watching my (SKILLET) Arm came out to be 3.7 all the way around. I tell you something else I've noticed with self winding. All the poles usually hit the same on ohm... These arms are to be fuelled with black mamba magnets. No shunt wire or braids...
If the other builders want to share their ohms on arms or say anything about the builds, I'll leave that to them.
Blow or go challenge... this will be a two part race. First we will match up racers for a best 2 of 3 to get 1 winner.
That winner will sit and wait ,while remaining running cars battle it out to grudge race the waiting winner. The winner of that match is the winner of the Blow or go.

I'm doing a race and report format so cars will have time to cool a little in-between. I'm cleaning shoes every pass. If the tires look OK im running them. If one cars tires look dirty I'll clean both cars for the race match.
I'm not doing warm up passes it's Blow or Go!
